Such anger doesn't become you, because I don't necessarily agree on climate change , I must be a complete moron

Doesn't work like that, then again as a teetotaller, non smoker, don't even take aspirin and even though I go to Parra Leagues, and don't play the pokies - I am still someone who listens to talk back and has no idea.

Love these discussions,I guess I am a right wing redneck, oh well , at last I am happy and didn't vote Labour :) and send the country down the gurgler

Don't worry mate. Gen Y & Z are all over climate change, marriage equality, the republic and acknowledging the First Australians in the constitution. They'll fix what you f**ked up or were too old and stubborn to bother with. :D

Casper would blame some secret society.

Ram would no doubt blame an international world bank conspiracy masterminded by the Rothschilds or the Masons.

Does anyone else think that Casper might have been right about one of his conspiracy theories and Moss had him silenced?

Sounds like just the kind of thing adolescents would find important.

Loving the rant Delboy, but Victoria road is mostly an East/ West running road, kind hard to be east of it?

Thanks OMC, I am just enjoying myself , no rant

It was Mr Multiple Announcement , Bob Carr, that first used the Vic !Road analogy, just like to remind the lefties there is something other than the ABC , JJJ and soy lattes :)

So you've basically got nothing ? :? I should work it out myself from various links that may or not be unreliable, depending if they support your view or not ?

You offer a most unconvincing argument HJ.

Haha, they're your links, Gronk!

It's not that f**king hard, mate: your own links clearly show a natural increase prior to the PWEB. They also show that temperature fluctuations since PWEB follow the same trend as natural, PWEB trends!

It's not hard, Gronk.

Well, whatever people think of the balance of the evidence for / against the human influence on climate change, from a risk management perspective there are starkly different downsides to basing policy on each perspective. If the naysayers are right, but we continue with emission reduction schemes, we give up some shorter term benefits but likely stretch out the remaining life of our reserves of scarce resources (e.g. coal and shit). If the other side are right, and we do nothing the downside is a touch more severe (and to be fair, it will be a touch more severe even if we try to do something about it).

Look, I'm definitely in favour of renewable energy where possible and definitely conscious of the finiteness of fossil fuels. In my opinion, Australia should move to nuclear power. It's a disgrace that we're not there already.

However, a destructive tax based on a lie, hijacked by idiot leftoids to push their own misguided ideological agendas is not something that I will support.

HJ thinks that the climate change thing is a beat up, promoted by brain washed tree hugger do gooders, agenda driven scientists and commies.

False.

I have stated that there are still questions to be answered, namely as to why there a is a distinction between the natural temperature trend and the subsequent trend that has been ascribed to anthropogenic causes, when both appear identical and logically linked.

Don't worry mate. Gen Y & Z are all over climate change, marriage equality, the republic and acknowledging the First Australians in the constitution. They'll fix what you f**ked up or were too old and stubborn to bother with. :D

The republic will not happen any time soon and marriage equality is another lie where leftoids have hijacked morality to push their own niche agenda.

I wasn't referring to any particular regulatory response. I would point out though that the attempt to correct a market failure by internalising an externality is not the exclusive domain of left-wingers (in economics or elsewhere). And we copped a tax b/c the coalition proposed a series of amendments to the ETS, got all the amendments agreed to, then voted against the bill. In the end probably a fair outcome because, while the European ETS looked like it had a chance, it made some sense for us to go the same way. But once the Euro scheme got arsed there was little point in being the only one with our pants down.

good

they need a religious educator who can enlighten young adults on all their options rather than use tax payer funds to exploit the situation and force certain beliefs on young adults

problem is there are over 3000 beleifs out there

In the postmodern world there are as many beliefs as people. It's just as well children are known for making good decisions.

The chaplain program replaced qualified counsellors and psychologists in schools with Abbott's ideologically driven initiative. But then again, you knew that, merkin.

Under which ideology were these counsellors and psychologists qualified? What are their values and are they really helpful to children?

Kids are more f**ked up than ever these days. Religion certainly isn't for everyone but when it comes to children any religion is better than none. As a society we seem to have thrown out the baby with the bath water.

We killed God and all we got was a single mother household.
