Interesting thing on this I’ve heard a few people on pods reference

Apparently there is a small rumour another the NFL that the reason the raiders haven’t really engaged in talks and why they maybe open to a trade is because they might not have the cash flow to pay him

Like literally they don’t have the money to put his fully guaranteed portion in escrow

I find that really hard to believe but the Davis’s aren’t your run of the mill billionaire owns and Peter King referenced it a few weeks ago and Jason LaCanfora said it too recently

Yeah that’s the suspicion... Mark Davis has nothing to his name other than the franchise.

If Mark Davis had done the right thing by the team and fans and sold the team to one of the heap of tech billionaires up the road in Silicon Valley they would have no issues paying its players and would have a new stadium in Oakland.

They can pay Gruden 100M dollars at the drop of a hat... but they can’t pay that money to Mack who they knew was up for payment 4 years ago.

Quite frankly if this is what it is... it’s embarrassing...

The traffic is all kind of going one way here, seems like Mack is more likely than not to be traded... gonna be VERY interesting to see if he gets move, what the compensation is, and what the team is

The Pack seem poised here, they could give up the Saints 2019 and their 2020, and ultimately lose only 1 first to get an elite edge to add to the D
They have the space to extend him too going forward, making the salary work for this year might be tough though, they'd have to free up 14mil to get him on the roster, then work out the extension
