Well technically I don’t think they should have even been negotiating without permission. Senior Flange doesn’t seem to be one for rules though.

It's about the timeline

Rooster spoke to Pissflap junior BEFORE he signed with the Sharks

Pissflap senior gets the arse.Pissflap junior gets the shits in support of daddy

Pissflap junior asks for release, possibly months ago

Pissflap manager or even Pissflap senior contacts Roosters and asks if they are still interested.

They don't even have to make an approach. Just sit back and wait for release.

Notice the article doesn't say where he signed. I doubt he has signed anything yet. NRL would not have ratified it.
