Shane Flanagan was the one who signed Johnson, and probably had no intention of playing his son in firsts over him or Chad.

If Shane was still head coach, would Kyle still want to leave?

After signing with the Roosters, Angus Crichton, a merkin who can hardly string a sentence together, was given a Fox Sports role. If you don’t think the deck is rigged.....

I thought Flanno had time left on his contract with us after this year? I guess not.

Not surprised but disappointed if this is true. 3 can't fit into 2 positions though so 1 of them had to go at some stage.

How many young guns do we even keep anyway?
Everyone talks up our excellent youth development but it seems like the talent is pushed away or poached at some stage.

But that's the mechanisms of professional sport, loyalty is good and all but is pushed aside when money or a better chance comes knocking.

Brailey #1 next to go?
3 can't fit into 2 but if 1 gets injured, like has happened to the Rooters, then WE are phhucked, not them.
Yet the Storm have 3 halfbacks and 5 fullbacks no talk about their players leaving.
Rooters cherry picking players at will is a joke and shouldn't be a Sharks problem that they have injuries and under performing players.

I heard it was Barry Russell who called SJs manager and signed him, which lead to the fallout

What annoys me about him is that he never picks up the tee and hands it to the ball boys. Most players at least do that these days! Watch chad or SJ.

It’s these little things that can sum up a persons attitude. Prevailed in this case.

Still excited to see where we will be this year.
Once the play makers start humming.
It’s not too late.

Have it on good word the club prefer Trindall.

Big call.

I haven’t seen much of him but geez he must be good as I think young Flano is currently exhibiting enormous potential in 1st grade.

When Chad was killing it in the U21s or whatever it was back then, I thought he was going to be a superstar but it’s only this year that he’s really reached anything like that, consistently.

Yeah, I really hope chad keeps it up. He has been rocks and diamonds the last couple of years but seems to have come good.
He has defiantly been under rated though.
Can’t figure out if he was just having a few off games due to confidence or lack of motivation before. What ever it was I think bomber players a big role in his current form.
I think we will see he doesn’t need a FJ waiting on the bench for him to play well.

Flange will have to endure the Cronulla curse, just ask Birdie he’ll tell you all about it
Yeah...worked out well for Birdy.... wanted to play under Creepin' but he faarrkked off and he's only played 17 substandard games in 2 years. Geez he muat have bombed 5 sitters this year prior to his ACL. Donkeys have paid over 100k a game so far....lols.

So is Flanno officially a c**k yet?
Is there at least one thread title with that statement?
For me disappointing if he goes but the NRL is full of disappointment, mainly being someone of his calibre goes to the Roosters, who can sign anyone no questions asked. The even playing field is a joke - even with their short stock of playmakers at the moment seeking him for mid season transfer is rude. Like all other teams with injuries, should be made to ride it out.
If SJ doesn’t get injured, would we be having the conversation now?
Only upside if he does goes, the toxic environment his old man brings to table will be gone. He can take his grudge and move on - probally do a BUZZ exclusive interview on his poor treatment and how getting a new set of teeth changed his life.
Both parties the better for it.

Frenzy.

Have it on good word the club prefer Trindall. Obviously this has been eluded to. By the time we need a full time replacement for either Chad or SJ he will be ready and we can just hit the market for the next replacement.

Have had the same mail. Have had it for a while. I agree with it too just quietly.

Nothing official but looks as though it’s done. Not that concerned about it really he’s a rookie with potential and thats about it. Glad he’s on board for this year so it doesn’t leave us in the lurch.
