If it was up to me it would be either Finch or Morley as captain
NOt really true or fair. Morley was heavily targetted by incompetent idiots with a whistle this year. 2 of his charges were dropped with no case. I think he has settled nicely, but still plays a mans game, something Bribane players havent been able to match since The Raging Bull retired.Charlie Saab said:sorry, you have to be able to actually play the game and not spend 4-5-6 weeks at a time wearing a suit on the sidelines.
I never left moron. Ive been in here through the good and the bad.Pantherjim. said:I'm surprised you're so anal about the subject that you'd actually take statistics on Rooster bashing! You must be obsessed with it!
The only reason why there is "38%" less Rooster bashing is because wankers such as yourself, Cockburn, OVP, Chook and Melon haven't been in here lately sprouting pig swill about how bloody great your beloved Roosters are, how crap other teams are by comparison, and how "flukey" it is for other teams to beat yours.
Most of you have been pretty quiet, hibernating in the sewers that you came from, hence less Rooster bashing. Nothing more.
Pantherjim.
Centrebet know Finch will be dropped. Otherwise we would be at 48 bucks not 8.Jimmy said:It might be of interest to peruse the Centrebet odds for the 2006 season. Even if some people regard the Roosters as a "crap team" they are the 3rd pick in the betting by the bookies.
Dragons $4.50
Eels $6.00
Roosters $8.00
Cowboys $10.00
Broncos $11.00
Tigers $11.00

You do not have the support of all Rooster supporters with your FOFF sentiments.
Jimmy. Im not a YES man. I can formulate my own opinions, without bias. You dont have to agree with me, but for god's sake, dont pretend you know football, when you clearly know sh*t.Jimmy said:Melon, I think you know that statement is a gross exaggeration and it is disappointing to see you carry your vendetta on Finch away from the People's Wall.

That betting market will fluctuate on a team's performances and not on player selection.
Thanks Skeepe. What Roosters Fans have to realise is some of us, have followed and continue to follow the club for over 30 years through the dark hours. We waited 30 years for Glory again, and instead of having a hat trick, we have a half arsed halfback that could not put on the plays when they were needed in the big games. Idiots like Jimmy, love and deserve mediocrity. I went through 20 years of mediocrity and morons like Langmack and Vautin soiling our holy jersey....enough is enough. Finch is f**ked. 99% of opposition fans can see it, and 90% of Roosters fans that know football and arent wet pantied 15 year old Ho's do too. The rest can enjoy mediocrity and Da Finchy, but not at my club.skeepe said:He probably doesn't, but I'd wager he has the support of all Roosters supporters with at least one toe in the lake of reality.

I have been following Easts for more than TWICE as long as you and its possible I know twice as much about rugby league.
I do know that we have a coach who would be snapped up by many clubs if available and I'm extremely confident he knows a lot more about the game than you.
As I told your FOFF supporter on the Wall, Ricky Stuart has a contract with the Roosters to select the team without consulting Melon or any other know-alls.

Well then Jimmy, youd have witnessed our only spoon in 66. You clearly misunderstand. The length of time is not proportional to ones knowledge of the game. The length of time in this case serves to indicate the spectrum of crapness weve had to endure. No we have come full circle. If you know an ounce about football, you would clearly see, the reason we missed out on the finals for the first time in 11 years was teh fact we could not score points. Our defence was in teh top 3. Our attack, led by Da Finchy, was pathetic. He squanders opportunities and panics under pressure. The game against Cronulla should have been enough for you. 1 minute to go attacking in there half we need to score to win. What does your hero do? Kicks for touch and hands them possession and the game. No bomb, no grubber, no chip, no effort. You probably stood and applauded......maybe you do know league...maybe you are just f**king blind?Jimmy said:" Idiots like Jimmy, love and deserve mediocrity."

Renowned League Expert said:but having said that, the times when I have degenerated into "hating" a team -- it's always because I have perceived that team to be a threat to the Roosters.
Renowned League Expert said:But the "hate" is always temporary. It's certainly not "real" hate. Maybe with you it is. I don't know. Maybe you really do "hate" the Roosters. That would be pretty tragic, though.
If you honestly believe that Stuart is responsible and has the last say in ALL team selections....you are wrong. Do you know whowas responsible for the selection of Walker and Hodges in the 04 GF?Jimmy said:Melon, you are missing my point. I do not claim to be a master league tactician but, unlike you, I am prepared to rely on the judgement of Ricky Stuart who has first class credentials as a specialist half back and highly successful club and SOO coach. I have seen numerous mistakes made by Finch and other team members and Stuart has seen them more than us with constant replays of game tapes.
I think the coach feels worse about failure than any supporters so it is in his interest to select the players who can achieve the best results.
It is HIS call and I ask you not to refer to people as idiots just because they don't share your point of view. One more thing, my eyesight is extremely good.
