i've got absolutely nothing against the guy, i mean if i were to select 3 props than he would be my first pick. but he dosen't suit my approach, i want to start fast and want my props absolutely smashing the line, i don't want to play a grinding game coz QLD will just go bang bang bang and be 18 up !

I have no idea what Ricky is thinking here, but clearly Pearce, Soward, Mullen will be the players. Carney was the plan not sure what plan B is. CvC might decide this. My guess is Soward and Mullen may get it, Soward to still be right with Gas, Mullen may get the nod over Pearce being a lefty.

I think this may actually go against Mullo if they pick Soward at 5/8. It may be prefered to have a left and right kicking option rather than 2 left footers.

I think that is a solid team that can do the job. Some of the rif raf will miss out (K Gidley), due to injuries. The only selection in that I'd replace would be Idris with a fast, strong ball running second rower, or a grubby second rower like Watmough.

17.Mannah/Tolman/Galloway - Bit of a playoff this week in the rep game.

What I like about my team at the moment is the Gallen/Bird/Watmough combination. While it wont happen, these 3 have the ability to intimidate QLD and somewhat bash them. They are very very physical.

As well as that in the ball touching positions, if you have Dugan, Soward and Farah, you have 3 guys there who legitimately would have QLD a little worried. This is as opposed to last year where you had Gidley (average), Kimmorley (no flare), Ennis (no flare) and Bird (good player, not a ball player though), in ball touching positions.

Plenty of players in that NSW team who can take the game away from QLD.

Soward/Gaz/Scott has a great combination going in both attack and defense.
