Time for Moylan to 5/8

Why is it ok to experiment with Cartwright and Peachey in the halves but not Moylan?

Just because Griffen doesn't want Moylan in the halves yet doesn't mean all the fans have to jump on the band wagon. Coaches have been known to be wrong before.

Who knows maybe Griffen wants to leave Carty at 5/8 to make sure he doesn't get picked in SOO 3?

I never said it was ok to experiment with Peach & Cartwright in the halves. I don't want to upset the apple cart with our attack at the moment. I am not happy with Cartwright at 6 long term but I will put up with it for now while we are winning and our attack is prospering.
I wouldn't be moving Moylan this late in the year (who will be tireder than other players) after playing an origin series and then expecting him to perform in a position he has barely played at in the NRL.
Our season is not at that desperation yet.

If that's the plot then I'm not sure it's working. Carty has been more dominant than ever before in two consecutive games. We know he won't be picked to start but as a utility that can play as a straight up second rower as well he is seriously pushing his case.

The Sharks game will be really interesting if Moylan gets picked. Even more so if Carry gets a run. If DWZ doesn't get the run you would have to assume its just not in the plans. Nothing indicates Hardaker is in our long term plans yet. It could be Edwards.

Moylan is a potential long term 6, he spends half the game playing there anyway mate it makes more sense to try him there now then it does trying Carty there imo.

You blokes been watching DWZ play? He's in as bad form as Moylan. Moylan is as bad as Cartwright in defence. No guarantee we are any better with the move.

Our 3 worst games of the year have been the 3 before Origin. Now that's over I expect the form will pick up

They have just announced Moylan is def starting at 5/8 in Origin tonight, hopefully he will have a good game to give Hook some ideas.

I suspect he doesn't want to weaken one position to strengthen another, especially with TMM retuerning before the season is much older.

DWZ has done nothing to suggest he has the makings of an NRL fullback. Nor really has Hardaker. So who plays fullback if not Moylan? Smith?

Hardaker should have been in reserve grade for the last two weeks. I don't think any favours have been done to him rushing him into the top side. The situation now is you have to keep him there or risk seriously denting his confidence. Meanwhile Peachey appears to have lost favour after having played pretty well at centre.

Edwards had a reasonable debut on the wing but that doesn't mean he's ready to take the fullback role. You throw kids in at the deep end and then wonder why it goes pear shaped.

It will be interesting to see who's right at a quarter past 10 tonight. My gut feelings have been wrong many times before.

Think we can more than "get away" with him at 5/8 in the NRL.

I think he has the skills to be one of the better 5/8's in the game , where as I genuinely feel his potential at FB is limited.
