Its a shame, he has got some good results in the last couple of seasons Jol, and seemed like a nice bloke, as evident by Spurs fans chanting his name during the game against Getafe..

Wouldn't be surprised to see him as Ajax manager by the end of the month.

I think JOl, in reality, lost his job in the off season.

Spent a lot of money, which meant the board were going to demand results or he was gone, and he spent his money on crap players in positions he probably didnt need to strengthen too much

there are two versions coming out of the press, one says he quit just before the game and they asked him to manage the game, another says he was sacked

Was there not a new clause in his contract making him unavailable to be signed by club teams for 2 years or something. Was done in protection of Guss leaving to go to Chel$ki.
