Was not there but was told both Pascoe and Go made speeches and the Jaw’s name was not mentioned once.

Right from day one this was the likely outcome although nothing is concrete yet. It will be interesting what role the club played in the saga. Meaning from day one they told Ivan he can go but they will keep it under wraps till after the GF or they had a ding dong stoush and relented when they knew they had no choice.

To me the continued silence from both Cleary and the club is the tell tale sign he is gone

I’ve disliked this shitbag for a while.As a coach he is a 1 trick pony & is very fortunate in being able to ride on his sons coattails due to Penriths desperation to retain him otherwise he would’ve been unemployable at the end of his current contract.

I have no problems with what he has done at the club but this act really pisses me off. It's not like he is a supercoach. I don't believe supercoaches exist. It's more about managing a team in that you have an attacking coach, halves coaches, defensive coaches etc and managing the cap.

He has done okay but not good.

But a few non-performing players he signed and a few who are useless.

His signings have been okay. Mbye is quality. Matterson is quality. The roosters centre that we signed is in a position that we are weak although to be fair to Fonua he is a good attacking option for us. Reynolds may even come good. I like Matulino but he only had an average season. I think Packer is massively overrated although he is a good bench prop.

He has done okay when it comes to recruitment but it's not great recruitment.

The reality is though we came 9th this season. If we have a good couple of seasons and build the club slowly I'd be cool with it.

When the knob though isn't attending a club event that he has to attend it shows a complete lack of respect. It's interesting how we give the knob a chance and he then bends us over and f**ks us up the ass. I'm not a fan of that happening to me.

Putting emotion aside Ivan’s done a pretty good job for us so far. 12 wins gets us to the 8 in something like 12 of the 19 seasons the NRLs been around. I think he’s a good coach and has built a pretty solid platform for us to improve over the next couple of years. Whether he is there to see it through or not is another thing.

Players aren’t expected to be able to count so they are excused from a scheduling mishap.

Before I forget, yeah, Mbye is a freak player who would stroll into any side in the comp.

Pascoe said in a reply to a persons email, that no,players or coaches bar Farah were present, but did seem defensive and was not being upfront about answering the question put to him. Who knows what’s happening, but we should all know within a few weeks

My take remains the same. He should have been at the grand final luncheon. I mean come on. VIc also said he'd been to a bunch of them and the coach was always there.

Maybe he has gone away to have a good hard think about acting with integrity.

yeah it seems, players and coach were not required to attend this year, which is pretty rubbish as that is the main reason, i go every year.

I read the promotional release and it didnt make mention of any players being present , just a group of former players .
