Benji? Who was playing at St.george at the time

Wow we’re dealing with a mental giant here

:joy::joy::joy:

Im just firing off rubbish because you clowns keep going. I know there was some drama with Benji, Robbie and the board in regards to Potter. Its not like the tigers have been worth paying much attention too for a long time so I am not surprised I cant remember it accurately.

Honestly I don’t know where this keeps coming up. I’ve been adamant the whole time I don’t want Nathan, and this goes back to well into last year. I post on both Tigers forums, twitter, multiple Facebook groups and by far the majority of fans have been screaming for Brooks to be resigned all year. When Nathan gets mentioned it’s always said that the reported figure of $1mil is way overs.

I get the media have been talking up him coming to Wests, but I think you’re greatly over stating how much the common Tigers fan was wanting Nathan here. If anything the speculation about it all seemed to rile Panthers fans up for then Tigers.
Mate, on the big Tigers forum, there's a hundred page thread on Nat that's been going since last March. "Ooh how are we going to fit in Brooks,Cleary and Reynolds?" etc. A large percentage of you have been convinced by the media
... and based on what?, loaded questions put to the Cleary's at every opportunity, "Would you like to work together?" " Um yeah maybe one day" What are they going to say? No?
Like I said, you've been played by the media. Not just you though, they've also been banking on the insecure Penrith fans clicks.

Fair enough and yes there’s plenty of fans who wanted Nathan. I wouldn’t be judging a size of a thread though, the average IQ on that forum is single figures (betcats would seem slightly intelligent over there) If it’s 100 pages 75 of them would be idiots throwing lame insults at each other.

I think he’s a super player, my reasoning for not wanting him had nothing to do with his ability.

Exactly they are trying to take some moral high ground, a club who fired their last 3 coaches and their last captain is acting holier than thou, they are all just upset they wont be getting Nathan.

Hey numbskull......fired their last 3 coaches. ...what do you think you're specialists at?....firing coaches and paying them out is what every club does....intentionally causing seizmic disruption to another club to cover their own braindead mistakes ( that you KNOW were just the thumbs up...thumbs down whims of Caligula Guss) is the unique specialty of your now gutterrat administration. The laughable backflipping your club has been doing since the " i know nothing" emperor took over your identity reads like a lost Faulty Towers episode that was scrapped for being even too ridiculous forJohn Cleese..
The 4chin 500 Gus Gould Panthers". .proudly....."no blow too low"

IC has helped with defence a little..
But gee our attack has gone backwards....To win games you need to score points, and lots of them.
His recruitment has been rubbish outside of Mbye and Cory Thompson.
He has NEVER won a comp so far and this crap about "i want to coach my bay boy" gets very irritating.
The kid is only 20 for gods sake.....sounds like a sooky family to me...

Let 4 chins have him and give us some candy players and money and we will play ball...
Riff will now have to be called the 6 chins club ...

Or else Penrith can sit back, grab some popcorn and watch the mess unfold at W/T with a coach who is planning to sign at the riff for 2021. Good luck with getting money or players too. This game is for grownups.

Well, we could always make him boot boy for the WT's for the next 2 years, you aren't the only one with cash, but he hasn't said anything at this stage, so I am still assuming he and the club are cool with what is going on. Is his kid worth all this?

I’m sure common sense will prevail & IC will b at Penrith in ‘19.It serves us no purpose to have him remain as coach if he commits to Penrith from ‘21 onwards.

Time will tell if Nathan is worth it but one thing I’m absolutely certain about is his old man won’t b worth retaining for the next 2 seasons If & when he commits to Penrith for season ‘21 & beyond.

Making Ivan boot boy. I don't think so. It would be a breaking of his contract, assuming that he was employed to coach the W/T. So that could be a nice little earner for the Cleary family.

Anyway we might be doing you a favour with Nathan and Ivan, it sounds like we are giving Nathan a mil or more which is a mistake imo. I’d rather have brooks on 700 than Nathan on a mil or more.

Agreed....Iam more than happy NC is staying put at Penrith, don’t get me wrong he is a very good player, but our no7 is on par or at least very close to NC. We have a lot of other positions that need plenty of money thrown at them to get them up to scratch.

As for the Ivan saga, it needs to be sorted out one way or another quick smart, because the only club taking a hit is the Tigers. I have no problems with him staying for two years and moving on to Penrith, but I guess if you want the media circus to go away there is only one solution and that is a mutual separation ASAP

Tigers recruitment is taking a big hit...So to Pascoe, Cleary and Gus the fat toad....sort this mess out now!,,

Just want this over before it affects our future.
If it drags on , it’s bad for both clubs.
Cleary snr is not irreplaceable, and son of Ivan still hasn’t proved he’s going to be a super star.
I personally couldn’t care less when or if Ivanski leaves.
Just nip it in the bud for gods sake..
It’s not the end of the world..we move on.

So why don't you join that forum & tell them? Do you realise that they are a completely different group of people to the members here?

I don't see the big deal. I'm happy for him to stay or go. I just want to see a couple of good purchases and go from there.

You won't get players without their agreement. The RLPA would be all over it.

You;ve got to look at it from a salary cap situation. Cleary signs for a million per season. Penrith will have to shed players to stay under the cap.

The Tigers need to get players as compensation. Cash is not adequate because the club struggles to attract talent as it is. Luai +Tamou/Merrin would together be worth about the same as Nathan's upgrade.
