Let him go early........sign a new coach and get that new coach to take who he would like,within limits of course.
Signing N Cleary surely some cap space has to be freed up,and we dont need to go to the player market as much for 2019-2020.

Thank you tiger, just some forum fun.

The more insightful of the riff people notice that Gus is too quick to claim credit for the good times and cast blame during the bad times.

They worry that the gus media industry could compromise the club.

They want to see a more balanced and democratic organisation and Griffins sacking symbolises this growing insurgency. But it’s not like he’s a che Guevara or anything!

Gus took over from a living corpse style of management.

I think he means well, but he’s not up to it with everything he’s doing. He may end up like his ancestors at the club, despised and quickly forgotten.

They would be better off installing proper management than risking the whole club on a single player. I mean they did that with Moylan. They didn’t learn their lesson ( sad really).

You;ve got to look at it from a salary cap situation. Cleary signs for a million per season. Penrith will have to shed players to stay under the cap.

The Tigers need to get players as compensation. Cash is not adequate because the club struggles to attract talent as it is. Luai +Tamou/Merrin would together be worth about the same as Nathan's upgrade.

We don't need to give you any compensation.
