Why not play the game on the second weekend of October?

Just after both teams have won their respective grand finals.

Surely then we'd get a better representation as to who the best is, given the squads haven't changed any since the grand final.

I am indeed. Had my ticket for a couple of month now.. I was going to sit but they sold out like 3 months ago. The southstand can be an awful place when it's packed Plus my GF is 5'2 and it's her 1st game with a big crowd :lol:

im on the western terrace with my other half...she normally sits where as i prefer to stand..i got my way this time cos the western terrace was the only place with tickets left lol

Because that is the time for international RL, which is far more relevant and important.

Just cut 4 weeks out of the NRL/ESL and there'd be plenty of time for a WCC after both grand finals. And it'd actually allow for a decent window of international rugby league rather than the blink and you miss it window they have now.

But will still watch a stream of it so the kiddies can still watch their cartoons.
