Had a fantastic defensive game last night; kept feeding Mortimer. No creative genius, but was a good link between the forwards and the backs. Lovely quick hands in that backline movement that resulted in a try.
Great effort. I hope we re-sign him or he gets a contract somewhere else next year - he really deserves it.
Oh, and his kicking game is improving.

You said it all Lingard. Agree 100%. Was fantastic last night. The guy has heart, tackles like a demon and understands his limitations and strengths. Hes a percentage player. Reminds me a little of Paul Taylor the way he plays. Oh ............ and he dosent go missing like someone else who shall remain nameless use to.
Id resign him in a heartbeat.

Good game, but still it is a worry of Robson is our full time half back.

Good club player, knows his limitations, defends well but should be a back up, Morts is a 6 an we need a much better option at 7 or we go nowhere. Last year was a one off on the back of Hayne and Fui, they are marked men as we are limited at 7

Poor Robson, our 3rd choice halfback last year, takes us to the GF, gets punted from that role at thte start of this year and we suck, get brought back in half way through the year and we have some direction on the field again. He's no world beater but he seems to be the nut that holds everything together and gives the ball to the right people at the right time. Stick with him for the rest of the year there, worked last year.

agree, i would re-sign the bloke in a half beat aslong as it's cheap, he has improved with every single game, and would be great depth next year....well the way he's playing not even depth - he could well be starting if KK isn't performing at a high level!!

to be fair on Robo he's earned his keep 5 times over, he's definitely over achieved...
