I was the sideline eye for leaguetv.com.au Pretty physical game, Newtown played alright, just ran out of troops. Riley Brown was taken away in an ambulance with a neck injury.

I thought Latimore and Horo were outstanding. The boys gave the MOM to Mark O'Grady. Maloney was also good.

You will be able to see the game on http://www.leaguetv.com.au around Tuesday or Wednesday. Keep an eye out on the NSW Cup forum for notification.

The archive has a few Wenty games from earlier in the season.

Im sure the powers that be will pull me into line if I have spoken out of school here. But I have been told that this game will be played at Parra Stadium before the Toyota Cup and Warriors game.

Yep, the round 22 clash with the Bulldogs is on at Parra Stadium...325pm on Sept 6. And the Tigers Wenty clash at Leichhardt on August 30th is down for a 5pm kick-off.

Wenty finally get to share Eels bill

IT will be a case of better late than never when Wentworthville's top-of-the-table NSW Cup team finally gets the promised chance to play on the same bill as their parent club at Parramatta Stadium.
When the NRL released the schedule for its final round last week, the Eels' home game against the Warriors was allocated for Saturday, September 6, at 7.30pm. With the Toyota Cup as the curtain-raiser at 5.15pm, Wenty will now make it a triple-header, kicking off at 3.25pm.
Their opponents are the Bulldogs.
Magpies secretary Adam Cromack said the NRL draw had worked out well to move their game.
"Hopefully we can go there and wrap up the minor premiership with a win," Cromack said.
Wenty, who feature contracted Eels as well as their own players, have maintained their two-point lead after beating fourth-placed Newtown 26-12 at Henson Park last Saturday.
On Sunday Wenty have their last Ringrose Park double-header for the season, against Cronulla's feeder clubs (Jim Beam Cup at 1.15pm and NSW Cup at 3pm)
