I can't believe how much you wrote to say nothing. This has consumed you .
I’m laid up at moment so have lots of time on my hands lol

But sorry I thought you asked why no news? Club 18 won’t be decided on number of newspaper articles. There’s plenty happening behind the scenes.

I’d admire your enthusiasm but we surely don’t have the population for 24 teams. 20 is hard enough to justify really.
Only 20 of these would be in Australia. 4 would be in PNG/NZ. I've already posted the 2040 population projections previously:

Perth - 3.1 million - New team
Adelaide - 1.7 million - New team
Melbourne - 8.6 million - New team (2nd) - 4.3 million per team
Wellington - 0.6 million - North Island excl Auckland - 2 million - New team
Christchurch - 0.45 million - South Island - 1.3 million - New team
Sunshine Coast - 0.6 million - Including satellite towns - 1 million - New team
Brisbane - Logan - 587k - Ipswich - 750k - Brisbane West - 210k - South/West Brisbane Total - 1.5 million - New team
Port Moresby - 0.75k - National District - 1.3 million - PNG (who knows - maybe 20-35 million) - New team

All of these new clubs would have catchments with populations over 1 million, far bigger than what Sydney teams have now (or what they will have in the future - see below):

This is the catchment population projections for the existing clubs:
Brisbane City - 406k - South - 462k - East - 285k - City/South Brisbane Total - 1.1 million - Broncos
Brisbane North including Moreton Bay - 1 million - Dolphins
ACT - 0.62 million - Including satellite towns - 0.8 million- Raiders
Newcastle/Hunter - 0.8 million - Knights
Gold Coast - 0.96 million - Including satellite towns - 1.1 million - Titans
Auckland - 2.1 million - Including Northland and Hamilton - 2.5 million - Warriors
Townsville - 0.33 million & Cairns - 0.34 million - Including rest of North Queensland - 1.1 million - Cowboys

In Sydney it's hard as some teams have very wide spread geographic support, like the Rabbitohs:
Dragons - Wollongong/Shellharbour 382k Georges River/Bayside 376k
Roosters - Randwick/Waverley/Woolhara/Sydney 504k
Eels - Parramatta/Cumberland 694k Blacktown 492k
Bulldogs - Canterbury-Bankstown 446k Fairfield 247k Liverpool 312k
Sea Eagles - Northern Beaches 289k Mosman/North Sydney/Lane Cove/Willoughby/Hunters Hill 268k Kuringai/Hornsby 300k
Sharks - Sutherland 258k
Panthers - Penrith/Hawkesbury 345k The Hills 284k
Tigers - Camden/Campbelltown 427k Inner West/Burwood/Strathfield/Canada Bay 432k Ryde 180k
Rabbitohs - spread all over

Other areas:
Central Coast - 0.4k - perhaps partially covered by an existing team
Northern Territory - 281k - some token relocated games
Tasmania - 600k - some token relocated games

I don’t disagree, to me a 22 or 24 team two conference comp should be the long term vision for the game. But alas this is rugby league and apart from a brief moment in time in the late 80’s early 90’s it has never shown such ambition, courage or business ability to reach such lofty goals.
No ability or lofty goals... they had a Perth team and an Adelaide team

we’ve dabbled with similar colours with the pirates sg ball Jerseys and they looked a bit shit tbh
Thats not the colors fault, it's the boring designs, you put those same colors on a 1995 western reds jersey design and it looks mint

Why does the pirate have horns? Horrible colours lol far to broncos esq. Orange is ok, but burgundy nah. Problem with orange is if you use black as well you are into tigers territory.IMG_1502.jpeg

these are a nice colour combo but not really relevant to the pirates brand or WA. Would be a unique colour scheme in perth for a sports club though

Really liked the clean look of the dragons all white kit last night. Maybe going mostly white with white shorts and socks is way to go with the yellow, scarlet and black colour additions.
