It seems people on here are always talking up the area they live and talking down the places other people live. Manly fans are convinced they live in 'God's country', Cronulla fans are equally adamant about The Shire, Dragons fans say it only is if God has two heads and plays a banjo on his front porch. Let's be fair dinkum- tell us the things you love AND the things you hate about your area!

THINGS I LOVE ABOUT THE GOLD COAST

* Powdery sand and beautiful water temperature at the beach
* The cultural diversity (where I'm staying, I feel like a minority as a white Australian!)
* The theme parks
* There's so many job opportunities here
* You can drive from anywhere to anywhere, and the longest it'll take you is 15 minutes
* Petrol is cheaper than in NSW
* The variety of landscapes- from the mountains to the beaches and the flat grasslands, and it doesn't take that long to get from one to the next!

THINGS I HATE ABOUT THE GOLD COAST

* No responsiblity for control of urban development
* Too many high-rises
* The Council doesn't seem to give a crap about the above 2 things.
* Not enough local identity
* Too Americanised
* Too many tourists and ex-pats from Victoria and NSW (I know I can't really talk, but how many people on the Gold Coast are true Queenslanders, born and bred?)
* The culture is too materialistic and, at times, hedonistic to be taken seriously

(It is for some of the above reasons that I believe the Central Coast deserves a team before the Gold Coast- for starters, more people on the cental Coast are locals, and will support a local team readily).

What I love about Minnesota:
It's beautiful
The Mall of America is here
People are friendly
It's home

What I hate about Minnesota:
It's too cold in the winter.
People assume that I sound like the people in the movie, "Fargo"
It's a long way from the millions of other places I'd like to visit.

Things i love about Penrith:

- The people, contray to popular beleif the majority of people out here are great, you can have a yarn to them with very little difficulty.
- Area, got the perfect mix of city and suburb type feel, round St Clair is all suburbs but only a 20-30 minute drive either way to Parramatta or Penrith. If ya cant find what ya want, then its not worth having.
- Penrith folk are absolute mad about their footy, AFL, Union, Soccer barely rate a mention up it, its truely one of leagues greatest strong holds :clap:
- Its slowly but surely going to the shiter, these minority groups above are getting bigger, and are bring this great area down with him :evil:

Things i hate about Penrith:

- Minority groups/gangs of trackhead aussies, Mediterranean Descendants and lebanese etc make is sometimes very danagerous to walk the streets alone.
- Bouncers, they are all f**kin wankers up here, they ask you to leave and you got about 1 second to say bye to yoru mates before your in an arm bar being dragged out... f**kin wankers
- Band wagons, they are all penrith fans now, when 3 years ago they were parra, roosters etc :roll: :roll:
- 2 hours from nearest beach, that shits me to tears when i feel like goin to the beach but im not that much of a beach goer so its maybe 4 or 5 times a year

That is small-minded, racist, and extremely offensive. But I'd expect nothing less from you Raiduh.
