At least he knows while he struggles to find a niche no NFL player could do what an NRL player can do

If the NRL is ever going to use that elite players fund now is the time. They have the opportunity to bring on three of the best players in the game in one go with Hayne, Burgess and SBW. Nobody would ever buy into it if it's just one player with one team reaping the benefits but if it's three in one go, maybe put some active players on the list for top ups like Thurston as well then I think people might go for it
 boy this is about to get fun
NFL players would have the same problems Hayne is having. He didn't grow up playing the game, it's not intuitive for him. He has to think about everything he does, it's not natural
And no matter what your athletic abilities are, at the elite level of sport, if you have to take even half a second to think about what you're doing instead of instinctively doing it, you're behind the 8 ball big time
Imagine JJ Watt in the backrow. Scary, scary thought.
Hopefully a decent team who is willing to take risks picks him up. He was being wasted getting 30 seconds a game where he has to go all out even if it's not on.
Pretty funny that despite his errors he was still one of their few attacking sparks. His plays have led to touchdowns. Considering the difficulty his team has getting a TD, they will regret this move.
If he tried to play RL with NFL conditioning then yeah. Pretty idiotic to think that would be the case. For about 5 or 10 minutes.
Every 49ers game on 7mate

wonder if that will continue now, especially if some one else like Detroit pick him up

2 of them (off a punt return and a as a RB) and that's with him getting f**k all game time and ignored while on the field.Mate now you're just blowing smoke, he's been a non factor, how have his plays lead to TDs?

They drop him and get no TDs at all. If he helps a team who struggles to get TDs actually get two of them. How is he a non factor?
He's not their best player or anything like that. But he's certainly nowhere near the worst. Considering their weaknesses it's ridiculous they drop him and didn't give him a game or two with a decent run to prove himself before dropping him. They still have no idea how good he could have been if allowed the same opportunities Davis has had at RB, or allowed to take some workload off a beat up Hyde. Basically they sacked him for fumbling a ball that was stripped. Meanwhile his entire team is fumbling and missing tackles and his QB is throwing intercepts etc.
I'd rather he came back to the NRL. A player of his talent is wasted playing 30 seconds a game. It's near impossible to develop when not given opportunity to do so.
American footballers are trained to work in short, sharp bursts, they have high numbers of fast twitch muscle fibers and would be gassed if they tried to play RL without properly training for it first because of the continuous nature of the sport. It wouldn't really be much of an issue long-term though, we're talking about elite sportsmen whose bodies would adapt pretty quickly once they got used to the rhythm of the sport. A bigger problem IMO would be the psychology of playing without a helmet and pads. Can't speak for the NFL but you would be amazed at how much conditioning players do in college. Stadium stairs at 5am = nightmare.
