Thanks for that information. Who would have thought that you need to sign enough players to fit in a 25 man squad 🙄.

What it means is that if parra want him they can fit him in by having less depth. For example Michael Gordon is off contract at the end of the year, if they sign Hayne they wouldn't resign Gordon but would replace him in the top 25 squad with a cheaper player on minimum wage such as Beaven French. Parra have to decide if they want a good squad or a good 17. Either way they can afford Hayne if they want him.
