What if Jarryd Hayne doesn't make the 49ers cut? Will he return to the NRL?

Yep they're all on peanuts

That's not even counting Copley, Mitchell, Napa, Evans...

We have professionals making the financial decisions at our club. Not ex-players.

But hair about every one of those players is a talentless hack according to these forums. Why would they be on a lot of money?

Hayne if he plays NRL will only play for Parra. He said it when he left, he said it when he came back for Christmas and now he has mocked the media again on Twitter for suggesting he will go to the Roosters. How many times does he have to state it? He will be our fullback in 2017. Deal with it.

You're not even in the right sport. He got bored with League. Why would he come back?

He'll go to Europe and play rugby.

Will take him if he wants to play in the centres ;)

You're a Storm supporter aren't you?
Not totally out of the question of Billy pulls the pin....
Eels supporters would love that.
(I think Munster might be the one to switch to centre but)

I'd say the money in the nfl has dried up as sponsors aren't as keen to throw big money at him now the novelty has worn off and everyone knows he won't be a threat in the nfl but merely a back up bit player at best. He'll either go to 7s and use that success to get a rich deal in france or japan or if it doesn't go to plan come back to the Nrl to a big pay cheque here.

They clear Jennings completely off their books next year. They haven't really replaced any of the big names they've lost.

So basically Hayne has decided he cant cut it in the NFL so instead he will rob some poor Fijian of their chance to go to the Olympics, nice one Jarryd.

Obviously you guys would be favourites but you are currently dragging his name through the mud to the point where he has had to defend himself.

Any offer you guys make will be under the microscope too.

It really depends on how much you are prepared to pay for Norman no ? Remember you pick up Jennings entire salary next year.

Hayne at #1 would never be able to be taught how to call the defence, let alone defend against tries, well enough to suit Bellamy. It would damage the 'culture' irreparably if Bellamy stooped to bidding for big name players, would be synonymous with poaching . . . so it is out of the question

Financially we could make it work - but as has been said, I doubt Bellamy would attempt it

Don't be surprised if the Anglo-Irish game makes a move to sign Hayne for either the midgets or the thuns.
We know it would be a publicity stunt and i doubt if he would play more than 6 games if he did go, but as we know the Anglo-Irish game is into publicity stunts.
