What if Jarryd Hayne doesn't make the 49ers cut? Will he return to the NRL?

Thought he went really well today and the more carries he gets the better he will go.
Not sure RB is his position though .. I think he is more suited to slot receiver / punt returner. He beats the first guy everytime in space

Anyone know what the avg life span of an NFL player is? You're generally over the hill when you hit 30 in league, what is it for the NFL?

His improvement from week 1 to week 4 as a RB is quite astounding. Well done to him.

I really didnt think he'd make it, thought he was too old to pick up the intricacies of the game. Couldnt be happier to be proven wrong. It's a credit to him and his dedication.

Hopefully as he contributes as a returner, he continues to get practise reps and in blow out games, game time as an RB and continues to develop there too.

Yeah I think so, I still don't think they will carry 5 rbs, Hyde, Bush and 4th round pick Davis are certainties IMO, so comes down to Hayne v Kendall Hunter, and Hayne has comfortably out played Hunter, add in Haynes special teams contributions and its all Hayne plane

Even if Hayne doesn't make the 49ers because of their depth there are MANY other teams who would pick him up. He is about as close to 100% chance of playing in the NFL as possible. He is not coming back in 2016. And probably not in 2017.

big hit!

SF will be on the wrong side of those blow outs me thinks. Kaps just going to be scrambling every game with that shit O-line protecting him. Will make the running game difficult too. Hayne might get a few reps on quick dump passes which he seems to relish when he gets some open space.

Just pray to f**k that 7mate don't do a deal to waste one of their allocation on niners games every week just so we can see Hayne in a few plays.

Yeah I agree
SF are in for a tough year
I've got them going for about 5-6 wins, should give Hayne some chances to show case his abilities

All the other teams that SF play this year have the same problems as SF though. All solid d-lines and shit o'lines. Means that division will be all about the running game and getting Hayne space out the back by pitching it to him is about as good a play as any when the o-line gets smashed every snap.

BREAKING NEWS....ossi rugby player Jamayne Hayne will make the 53 man roster but will tell the 49ers that he is returning to Australia to help his club the Parramatta Eels avoid yet another wooden spoon in 2016. 49ers coach's reply will be, "The Parramatta what"?

If the NRL and the NFL play their cards right, this could very quickly turn into a watershed moment for both sports in both countries. If Hayne is a success against the first choice players, there is a cross promotion goldmine just waiting to explode here.
