Yes, I took the kids along to see this on Wednesday. Very good with plenty of giggles for those of us old enough to remember all the B-grade science fiction movie references.

Resurrecting the Champ - pretty good boxing drama movie with a twist.

Watched "1408" (Director's Cut) yesterday.

Very cleaver and much better than the original release. More thriller than a horror flick but effective as both. In my view, this is thinking person's horror. Mucks around with your mind rather than relying on gore and violence.

John Cusack puts in a brilliant performance in this and Samuel L Jackson was effective (as always). The story didn't quite go the way I remembered King's original short story, so I'll have to hunt around at home.

Stephen King's movie translations can be very hit and miss, but I think this one can go down with "The Shawshank Redemption", "Stand By Me", "The Shining", "The Mist" and "The Green Mile" as one of the better ones.

Went and saw Terminator: Salvation. Better than I expected. Christian Bale is pretty disappointing in how he's used, but Moon Bloodgood and Sam Worthington are very interesting.

Just watched Quaruntine. Just like Cloverfield, I had good expectations. And just like Cloverfield, I instantly regretted wasting an hour and a half of my life.

The last half an hour was painful to watch. It was just that stupid bitch screaming and that black dude going "Its going be cool, man. You'll be OK, man".

I expected nothing from quarantine and didnt think it was to bad, that scene where that chick is screaming drove me up the wall, but apart from that i liked it, was a couple of good effects, like the one where she fell over the rail.

I'll echo the Quarantine love. It's pretty true to REC and it's one of the only 'scary' horror movies I've seen in the last decade.

I saw Observe and Report on Sunday and went in not expecting too much but i really enjoyed it. Anna Faris i got to admit didnt do much in the movie but Rogen was hilarious just so border line Psychotic it was hilarious.
Michael Pena from Shooter was in it too he was good aswell so too Ray Liota.

If youre thinking of going to see this dont expect too much and you will be pleasantly surprised. Kind of like Hot Rod has absolutly no point to it but was still very entertaining.

Im keen to go see the new terminator 4 movie so I watched T1 last night, sweet as movie. I plan to watch 2 and 3 before it comes out aswell cause im a bit confused at the story line atm.
