i watched friday the 13th the new one.....its got boobs and killing. which usually is high on my list...but was very meh. the boobs were really fake and the kills werent gory or that well thought out.

I just watched it too. I thought it was pretty good.

The only thing that was missing was that guy getting his face grinded off at the end

Saw Cloverfield last night. Pretty good, I quite enjoyed it.

Took a few minutes to get used to the camera work, and the bloke behind it annoyed me (Good when he got dead) but all in all a decent hour and 15 minutes.

Went and saw Love the Beast tonight, the one starring Eric Bana, really enjoyed it, a must see for anyone that has a passion for cars!! Don't get to the movies too often but really enjoyed this one!! Gives a real insight into his life and passion for his XB Coupe! ;-) Gotta love the falcons! :D

Knowing, and you know what? I really liked it.

Watch for the cameo by the great Benita of Play School fame!

The plane and train crashes were superb. Crap storyline though and the ending was ridiculous.

Here's my review:

I didn't mention Benita in it, but I watched it with my wife and started singing the Playschool theme song when she appeared.

Would have liked to see a twist ending where, instead of the world ending, the aliens blow Cage a raspberry and say "sucked in, we've abducted your kid" before nicking off into space.

Watched a doco called "Deep Water". It's about the 1968-9 Sunday Times Golden Globe yacht race - solo non-stop circumnavigation of the globe running the 19th century clipper route. One of the all time epic feats of endurance. Focuses mainly on one of the competitors, Donald Crowhurst and features many of the original people involved in the race or their spouses. A great story with a bit of everything.

The winner (and only finisher), Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, is the yachting equivalent of Sir Edmund Hillary. I'd put this up there with Joe Simpson's survival story "Touching the Void" (same producer).

I watched Knowing today and thought it was excellent. You somehow know when a movie is made in Australia. Not sure how, but I knew.

It was much better than The Day the Earth Stood Still and yes the plane and train crashes were f**king awesome!

Saw '17 again' a few nights ago (it was my mates' decision!) Funnier than you think it would be, Matthew Perry's nerdy rich friend is a great character!

Saw the new 'Fast and the Furious' last night at a movie marathon. If you like hotted up cars and lots of shaky camera action, you will like this movie alot. Next movie up was 'Death Race'- it was a cool movie. Fast-paced and bloody. The ending had the audience laughing and applauding, which is never a bad thing.

Dragonball = Worst movie ever. Seriously i knew the movie was going to be sh*t, but not at such epic levels. Part of my childhood just died with that viewing.

I watched Dragonball with my cousin on Sunday.

I went in there with little expectation, it was OK. Wasn't the worst movie I seen. It was ok for what it was.

Few things annoyed me though, but that's only the Dragonball Z fan within me.
