Taken 3 - not bad. not as good as the first two. The big boss battle scene was pathetic.

The Penguins of Madagascar - typical kiddie cartoon movie, some decent comedy throughout, although it managed to have more comedy and less of that sad emotional crap that these type of movies try and force on its viewers.

Taken 3 - mediocre, better surroundings and buildings and the like in this edition though.

When he was talking to Stuart at the airport and he mentioned when you get out of prison im going to find you and kill you or whatever he said I died a bit inside with the hint of a taken 4. Please thats enough. Shes done.

American Sniper - Interesting insight into the mental toll war takes on a person. Liked it a lot

Dumb and dumber to - As expected, not as good as the first but had some genuine funny moments

Heard a lot of bad things about American Sniper.

Gone girl, the first 2 hours and 18 minutes was excellent, the last 2 minutes ruined the entire movie. Can think of a few endings that would be a lot better than that.
GONE GIRL SPOILERS

Indeed, apparently in the book it's still ambiguous but favours more toward Affleck leaving her, which if they wanted to leave it open for a sequel, is what they should have done.

Unbroken - Angelina Jolie is an even worse director than she is an actor.

The movie had a lot of potential but she failed.

Watched four movies yesterday.

R.I.P.D.: 4.5/10. Doesn't make good use of its cast or its premise, getting bogged down in a shitty plot.

True Lies: 7.5/10. One of my all time favourite guilty pleasures. Great blend of humour and action. Tom Arnold and Bill Paxton are hilarious, and Jamie Lee Curtis. PHWOAR!

Fletch: 7/10. Really enjoyed it. Chevy Chase at his best and that female lead is a good bit of biscuit too. Fun movie.

Horrible Bosses 2: 5.5/10. Not as bad as I feared, but not a patch on the first. Jennifer Anniston, Kevin Spacey, and Chris Pine steal it. Will never get tired of Jason Bateman playing the straight man to somebody else's lunacy.

Gone Girl and Whiplash. Wasn't so set on whiplash three quarters of the way in but the finish had me on the edge of the bed. Both top tier films. I love screener season! The Theory of everything up next.
