Predestination

My brain hurts

8/10

How anyone can rate this movie beyond a 5/10 is beyond me. It would have made a great sci fi comedy if it wasn't so pretentious. Except it wasn't intended to be a comedy, the plot just continues to get more and more ridiculous, not to mention predictable.

The Railway Man. Coline Firth and Nicole Kidman. Story about a man who meets a woman, they fall in love, get married, then we find out he basically has PTSD from being captured by the Japanese in WWII. Flashbacks of what happened intertwined with Nicole's character trying to understand what he went through.
Good movie worth a viewing. 7.5/10

John Wick. 6/10

Keanu Reeves doesnt fit the role.

Dragula Untold 8/10. Quite enjoyed it - blood, gore and vampires!

Tomstones - Cant go wrong with Liam Neeson, although the plot was pretty thin. 7/10

Absolutely. Such a huge contribution to the war and instead of recognition he just keeps getting kicked in the guts.

Watched Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind again last night, for the first time in over ten years, still pretty fun movie. Can't go wrong with Sam Rockwell. Wouldn't mind reading the memoirs/biography it's based on.

Going to Dumb & Dumber 2 tonight with mates, I know it won't hold a candle to the infinitely quotable original (of which I have fond memories of also seeing at the movies), but if it gets the 33 year old me laughing half as much as the 13 year old me did back in the day I'll consider that a win.

Visitor Q on world movies. sweet mother of f*#king god what the hell did I just watch

As far as world movies is concerned, just because it's rated R (with nudity and/or sex scenes) doesn't mean its worth watching.

They have some right f**ked up movies on there.

American Sniper. A great anti war movie. Those panning it as glorification are f**king idiots.

I can see why there has been talk of Benedict Cumerbatch for the Best Actor Oscar. He gave a very good performance. Make you really feel for Alan Turing, seems like he was used by everybody at times against his will.

Still need to see this one. The way Turing was treated was disgusting. So much so that Gordon Brown and the Queen pardoned him posthumously.

Saw Dumb & Dumber To. Was prepared for more of the same, wasn't as good as the first but still laughed a hell of a lot throughout.
