What Movies Have You Seen III

Hard to find but on Apple Movies for a 99c rental and well worth it.

Deserves a bigger audience.

Based (not sure how much is real, but enough I guess) on a real story of a guy waiting for his delivery of an engagement ring before he flies off to propose.

The main guy nails it, very entertaining

Gray Man. 6

Could have been good, but the action sequences were just too far over the top, and the injuries he took and kept going were too much for me.

Not the uwe boll movie based of the game? The same uwe boll considered the worst director of all time and really only makes movies based off computer games.

No, this came out in 2021.

And based on a guy waiting on a delivery not a game

Men
Strange as …deep very deep .
some bizarre scenes lol that you can work out for yourself ( good luck )
Maybe trying to say All men are the same .
still very watchable & brilliant special effects .

As a first time viewer, I'm getting towards the end of Starship Troopers.

What the hell was it? Slips into my worst ten movies of all time, joining such illumaries as Dante's Peak.

Minus 0.5 infinity out of 10.

Starship troopers is a classic.
Maybe it’s because I saw it as a teenager originally when it came out.
You need to understand it’s a satire to enjoy its silliness/cheesiness.

Prey
It was decent; adequate; ok.
Went in thinking it was a MC Hammer biopic was pleasantly surprised it was a Predator sequel. However, it just seemed…lightweight. Actors, setting good. Plot…well, a bit of a rehash. The Frenchies were only introduced so they have people to kill. Can’t stop feeling if they’d based it around the girl and the braves, it could’ve been epic. Some cheap FX too.
Anyway, got through some popcorn, entertained enough but wouldn’t ever need to see it again.

Pretty much sums up my thoughts.

I do think you are generous saying cheap fx, the bear in particular was terrible

I lasted 40 minutes, and the final 10 could be the toughest time I've ever spent trying to give a film a chance to dig itself out of the shit.

Terrible, just terrible.

Rewatching Lord of the Rings series for the first time in ages. Definitely holds up, in fact I’d say I’m enjoying them more this time around (just finished the 2nd one). Hope they never remake them.

Watching Top Gun again. I am told in couple of days, the sequel will be ready.

Goose is quite possibly one the best characters ever. Love Goose.

The rights have just been resold, get ready for to be remaking them ASAP. With a modern twist because Tolkien’s works are problematic apparently.

Remake The Hobbit (though the fan version that cut the 3 together was good), leave LOTR alone.
