I am very upset, one the all time best movies True Lies is getting a reboot.

If you have not seen the original or do not rate it, eat a dick and a vag.

Punks.

Saw it the other day with my wife, I felt like a teenager again watching this film. You can't beat 80's nostalgia.
I just saw Top Gun Maverick last night. The movie was OUTSTANDING. It had me in tears at times....it really played with the feelings. The filmmakers could not have done a better job with making a sequel considering the length of time between 1987 and today.
The movie had something in it for EVERYBODY. Old people like me can relate to the 80s nostalgia, film buffs like myself could relate to the many tributes to the first well loved film and the younger generations had some cast members that they could relate to. The movie could so easily have been f**ked up like previous sequels have done.....but my f**k it worked!!!
Perfection!!! 5/5 for me.

Gulp....Im a massive Arnie fan......yet for some unknown reason, I have not seen "True Lies". I've never had the real will to see it....yet, I will track a copy down. I need to watch "The Last Action Hero" as well.....only watched about 20 minutes as a kid and didn't like it.

I put the last action hero in the same category as demolition man as the most underrated action movies of the time where I think people completely missed the humour and satire.

I like Demolition man more bit LAH is great too.

Although not an action movie, I also put the cable guy in the group for the 'people missed the point' movie that are awesome and underrated.

I was too young to understand "The Last Action Hero" at the time....but everything I've read about , it seems to be a hell of a lot more appreciated now than then.

100% agree with you with "The Cable Guy".
I can see why it did not go well with Carrey fans at the time....but it is a f**king brilliant movie. My favourite Carrey flick.

Speaking of bombs of that era....did anybody see Hudson Hawk?
I very much like it.

There’s the scene where he finds out Andie Macdowall is a nun and the Candy Bar crew scoff, and one of them chortles “he didn’t know!!!”. My wife and I use it as a private joke a lot. Same with ‘Bunny… ball-ball’. Lol

A lot of films like Hudson Hawk, Big Trouble In Little China, The Golden Child, Last Action Hero… they’re big, fun movies that were critically panned and did low sales but are great popcorn flicks.

Nude Tuesday. Was on Stan. I thought it was awesome. Dropping the trailer to see if it’s your thing. It’s dubbed cause the movie is in gibberish.

Got convinced to go watch Thor despite not being super enthusiastic to see it.
I actually ended up liking it.
It's funny, has heart, a couple of cool action set pieces and Christian Bale was a good villain.
Better than most of the post endgame mcu stuff so far I thought.
It got slightly too jokey here and there but it didn't take away from the movie for me.
