Where are the doubters now ?

My biggest issue with our attack is we have no respect for the ball. We try to chance our arm way too early. We don't bother trying to build pressure. Example was spreading it wide early in the count; leading to Tupou being jammed into touch.

well said hitman, its not just respect for the ball, its also respect for the opposition. We just throw the ball around at will, and no focus on defense. Or defensive stats are appauling, how can we go from one of the best defensive teams in 2011 to one of the worst - with the same/stronger roster?

Bluey must be related to Frank Endocott - all talk, no brains.

I thought Anderson had the best win percentage?

Don't know about the exact numbers, but under Anderson they had a shocking year before he was sacked. Cleary got us in the playoffs more often than not and left on his own terms, I regard him as the most successful we've had.

dead right, Ives was a coaching dunce, Bluey is the real deal.

give him a chance..

I agree...better to have issues to sort and form problems this end of the season than the other. Eels beat Manly last night, Tigers going for their second win today, and they are supposed favourites.

But I also agree last nights game was the worst display I've seen from them in a long, long time. It reminded me more of '09. So it will be interesting to see how they make up for that next week. I honestly believe they will, they'll be well aware of the roasting they'll be getting from home-And quite rightly so for that. They'll be well aware how bad that was as well.

Never let the truth get in the way of a good argument.

Cleary wasnt a good coach imo, Bluey has the credentials to get us to the finals.
Glad to see you prefer to let your opinions get in the way of facts, too. ;-)

And when you say finals do you mean Grand Final, or top 8? 'Cause we've been getting into the top 8 consistently for a fair while.

They'll struggle to make the eight let alone the top four. At best they'll scrape through unless there is a dramatic turnaround. So far this season they have gone backwards from last year.

Key injuries mounting for other teams pretty quickly, Warriors might be the last team standing!

I start off thinking you are on the wind up and just jokin. But I read your posts and think you believe that? Really?

Bluey is showing he is a really niave coach at this level.

The current warriors team has some important injuries in Luck and Lillyman. It aslo has some weaknesses, particularly in the centres. But this team was going places last year. This year they are going backward. Quickly.

I think things are going to improve, once Luck returns. People tend to under-estimate his contribution to the team.

Agree with this, a lot of people around here think Taylor = Luck + attack. Very very wrong.

Yeah, totally agree. People are quick to bag Taylor as well. He had a poor game against the Roosters, but he also had a monster game against the Titans.

Taylor is going to be a great player, but Luck already is one of the greats.

At what level? Rd 5, people have written the guy off.

He is a very good coach, let him sort his team out, attitudes/injuries, then put the boot in..

I am more concerned that you thought Cleary wasn't a good coach. He was and is. But look at how the Penriff panthers are going. It takes a while, agreed.

Bluey's the one who thought he could just waltz in and win the thing. He shot his mouth off that he was gunna do it easy. Sure, I be disappointed if that wasn't his plan, but realistically, did he really think it'd be easy?

Bluey is being loyal to players and giving them a chance. You can see that. He is planning for later on by doing that. And you could get away with that in Super league too. There are soft games there. There are none in the NRL. Thats why I thought a lot of what he was doing is niave.
