It's such a shame that he gets buried for being a nice guy, yet they had no problem letting a thug like JBL run a muck (lol at getting your ass knocked the f**k out by Joey Styles as well)

If he'd cracked a few heads backstage he'd be the WWE champion.

This is a guy the fans could have got behind instead of Alberto "no crowd reaction" Del Rio.

That doesn't fly with VKM because he's a ego manic roid head. It could be worse though, Morrison could be Asian. If being a tough guy is so important than why is Toshiaki Kawada not a ten time WWE champ? Oh yeah, he's a Jap.

Every time he seems to get a push Melina pisses someone off and he gets buried again. This time it was her giving Trish the cold shoulder.

As I said, he's not the greatest character, but worse have held world titles. He gets a decent crowd reaction, even when he's doing nothing in the mid card.

So you can rape someone backstage or shoot (not stiff) on someone in the ring and that's no problem but give someone the cold shoulder and you're done? Well, Rhino got fired for breaking a pot plant so double standards are no problem in this company.

Melina is fired she should be a non issue. The whole thing is too complex and I don't really know what's going on so I'd rather ignore it. One minute Morrison is pimping out Melina to half the roster, the next he is pussy whipped.

As for Morrison as a character. No one else in the company who had been given such little narrative is that over so I completely disagree. He would also be the fourth best worker on the main roster behind Danielson, Punk and Christian. That doesn't really say much for the WWE but that's a side issue. It's just another guy who the ball has been dropped on.

But back to this discussion, aside from Foley I can't think of anybody who's said anything nice about Melina. Even in the Hardcore Diaries, Foley mentioned she was unpopular backstage.

This has rubbed off on Morrison, but there's other issues there. He constantly ignores what the company wants from him. Michaels recently spoke about how he worked with Morrison and told him to cut some of the flashy moves and show some real intensity in the ring, which he did for a match and drew a good reaction but he quickly reverted back to his general standard.

On the mic. these days he's abysmal and some of the promos he's cut are easily the worst in the company and as a worker his matches can be inconsistent. At his best, he's working against somebody who can structure a match and really bring a crowd into it (Sheamus, Mysterio, Punk) and at his worst it's just sloppy.

And sure, if he appeased those that mattered I'm sure these faults would be ignored, but he hasn't, so he's basically on a one way train to TNA.

I think everyone was moreso pissed off with the Trish incident because Morrison/Melina were disrespecting a WWE legend, than because they gave her the cold shoulder.

He wouldn't be in the top 10 workers for me in the company though. Whilst he's good to watch in the ring, he can't cut a decent promo to save his life.
