The storyline went from being about Punk calling out all the BS in the WWE.

To how Triple H is coping with managing Raw.

As good as that promo was for that crowd, I thought it was just so forced and silly I felt more embarrassed for Heyman than I did for say Edge. JBL did get levelled with a good line though.

The only problem with that PPV was that a few of the ECW guys were contracted to TNA at the time, in particular Raven. I think he was the one everyone missed, outside of possibly Perry Saturn.

And Eddie Guerrero coming out still working in WWE storyline mode when everyone else wasn't kinda took away from it a touch too.

If this doesn't lead to a Mr McMahon heel revolt with Del Rio, Miz and Truth, I will be disappointed.

And even if I did, I'll be disappointed. They had an awesome storyline brewing with Punk and McMahon...and even when the blew it by bringing him back, the Triple H/Punk angle had huuuuge legs. And they blew it. And even when they brought out Nash, it had legs. Annnnd they blew it. Yawn yawn yawn.

They had better get Johnny Ace into this angle big time, or out of it completely. At the moment he is treading water, and I think it is hurting the angle (as well at other factors). Either have him as a stooge of Mr McMahon, or as someone using the ring as a way of making a hostile takeover of the WWE for himself.

I think Mr J.V.P.O.T.R will become more involved, When I watched NOC I had no sound so I don't know if the commentators mentioned that when he was leaving ringside he pulled out his phone, I can see them using him as the full heel in this storyline, leading to vinny Mac coming back. But that faction with miz truth and vinnie would be top shelf

Horrible booking if I've ever seen it.

What happened to Punk's campaign for change? You have a vote of confidence on the COO and he doesn't bother to turn up.

Then you have Herny standing next to Barrett nodding his head in agreement when talking about unsafe working conditions.

Such a horrible plot twist from Punk's initial promo.

Grade = F.
