    Team vs Knights

What do Bunty and Ale offer? Bunty has had multiple chances and really hasn't proved himself over and above our bench on the weekend. Ale does have upside as a more aggressive runner but will be too underdone to come in in a sudden death game. I do agree Lussick is an interesting selection and...

    R26 - Warriors v Dragons, Matchday

Egan was running a lot more. Possibly a ploy to help ruck speed by breaking up defense rhythm. I liked it but thought he could have had a bit more support around him as he jumped out from dummy half as there was a lot of space around the ruck to exploit. No doubt the loss of Metcalf and Berry...

    R25 - Gameday Warriors v Manly

Are we playing down a level to the opposition we are playing? If we play Brisbane/Penrith next week do we go up a notch and raise the level to match our opposition? I guess we find out in a couple of weeks. Definitely a few warning signs as mentioned by others re ruck speed and edge defense...

    3-2-1 v Manly

3 DWZ 2 Harris 1 SJ Heartening to see no tries conceded in the 2nd half. Attack still clunky at times with a few basic errors but 29 points against a side desperate to still make the eight is a good result. I think the defensive lapses take the shine off the good attack we do have.

    3-2-1 v Tigers

3 AFB 2 Tohu 1 SJ Attack looked off at times but still scored 30 points. The 22 points scored by the Tigers is a concern though. I think a couple of tries directly off misleads by Metcalf which he needs to work hard on and then the Tigers attack had nothing to lose which made them dangerous...

    3-2-1 v Titans

3 SJ 2 Egan 1 Tuaupiki A lot of rust out there and so many blown opportunities. When you take the Walker forward pass and Metcalf chip as well as the Obstruction call should have won by 20 at least which is still encouraging despite the errors. Will accept that our errors were a result of it...
