    Big stuff-up not to check that. But ultimately it would have been inconclusive for the bunker I think and they would have had to go with the ref’s call of no-try. So I don’t think it makes a difference even though it was shit.

    I think we can win this game without Ponga, and that would be a much bigger shot in the arm for our season than winning with him. I would have loved to see Hodgson get this time at the back but Hoy always has a crack.

    I guess you can’t rule out that the Knights came knocking and it was decided better for him to take up a similar opportunity at home than all the way down there. The Raiders have plenty of second-row options so in terms of a path to first-grade I’d think it makes sense too.
