    Come on, how did the story misrepresent the situation? It was a RL feller going on about the AFL in western Sydney, and the son of a former League legend does actually play for the Swans. And most people don't take Billy Brownless too seriously anyway, so I wouldn't worry about that either...

    I'd like to see proof of these free tickets. I would rather liked one, I think. I didn't prebuy a ticket either as there was obviously no need to, and the deluge that occurred just prior to the start would have stopped a lot of walk-ups. A poor crowd nonetheless, but I wouldn't read too much...

    Why is everyone so ready to assume that the success of one code is always going to be to the detriment of the others? Have the Swans or the Lions really hurt RL? Have the Storm damaged the AFL? Maybe they are just bringing fans that never really cared for the only footy previously available...
