    2005 player movements

"Strapping young centre Tom Joseph has enjoyed a stint training with the NRL side. Joseph joins Manly highly recommended by Steve Roach who watched the tall country boy impress in GPS Rugby this season. Joseph is a teenager to watch this season." - Zorba (mightyeagles.com) I actually...

    2005 player movements

He's a prop from Parra. He used to play for the Eagles. Won Parra's coach's PL player of the year award. Not sure if he is first grade potential though.

Which team do you want Rd 1?

I'd wanna play Parra early before they get a chance to gel. Overall though I just hope it's at Brookie.

    Eagles Round One!

MN: I think it is pretty unlikely that Watmough would get dropped. Along with Hicks he was our best this year. He even won the players' player award. I also think Kite is much better as a prop. As a second rower in the past he has been only average. And I presume you meant the 18th man to...

What are the Clubs Requests for the Draw?

I can't really say but I presume Manly will be asking for plenty of their home games to be on a Sunday arvo. Hopefully we will get rd1 at Brookie for once as well.

    Eagles Round One!

Watmough was in my opinion our best player this year and ge also won the players' player award...there is buckleys chance of him being dropped. Kite is an average second rower but an above average prop anyway. I think it will look something like this. 1. Brett Stewart 2. Scott Donald 3...

    Rumour Signings

What's with all these Roosters being constantly linked to Souths? Are there actually any sources for these rumours?

I know this is old news guys

Donnelly was a disappointment because he nowhere near fulfilled his talent. Maybe Bellamy will be able to get the best out of him. He has good aggression running the ball but his defence and workrate weren't good enough. He might be able to spark Melbourne from the bench.

Best club game of the year?

The semi final between the Cowboys and Roosters was entertaining.

    Leuluai looks at other offers

I don't know how reliable it is either....just letting you know. I love the Manly-Parra rivalry, its such a shame that we are only going to play eachother once next year.

    Leuluai looks at other offers

According to this guy Leuluai isn;t an option for Parra anymore. http://forum.mightyeagles.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=32043&FORUM_ID=3&CAT_ID=1&Topic_Title=parra+are+screwed&Forum_Title=MANLY+SEA+EAGLES+FORUM

Michael Witt a Sea Eagle - Official

Well he was assistant coach. And at the time we signed him we were in financial difficulty...Hasler is the lowest paid coach in the league. I think last year was a learning experience for him and he had the team playing alright at the end of the season. Hopefully he puts some results on the...

If Des doesn't perform this year I think Toovey will be ready to take over. I think he did very well to come 3rd in PL with the squad he had.
