    Thorman rejected our offer

Talk about crapping on; who is talking 10 weeks he did not even get two in a row, was played at hooker, half back and 5/8 along side Dykes and Witt; was obviously told to hang back. And as for needing to prove yourself in 2 to 3 weeks why are we still persisting with Witt he has had ample time...

    A blast from the past......

It could have been from any year. Really puts it all into perspective. In 2001 we did get the back line we hoped for but some how managed to piss it all away.

    Thorman rejected our offer

A shame, no other word to describe what Parramatta did to this guy. He played a mere six games, and I think at most two in a row. What chance did he have.

Dykes move is dependent on another release.

Could possibly be Dennis Moran, London Broncos ESL who will be released if the broncos are relegated this year. Highest point scorer last two years, ex parramatta player.

    We can still make it...honestly....

On last weeks performance I can't see why we can't win the next 5 games. We are in a race for the last spot in the eight against the Cowboys, Sharks, Tigers and the Knights. The fact that we play the tigers and the sharks is a positive. Cowboys Dragons Bulldogs Souths Panthers Tigers...

    Next week team V tigers

What ever the team one thing is definite we will need points this week and that means attacking options. With a cloud over Hopkins and Morris out for the remainder we will need to have both Witt and Thorman in the team. If Dykes is fit then thats a huge bonus.

    We can still make it...honestly....

I can just see it Parramattas last game for the season against the Roosters, we need to win to make the eight but with for and against need to win by 50. Fittlers last game so packed stadium. Parramatta come up short.

The Mighty Eels! My thoughts v Meboring

Lets hope that Someone at Parra reads this thread. Thorman the most underated player this year.

    Watch out for Witt!

Was Witt dropped or injured. I would have played Thorman off the bench.

Yeah I thought I read it wrong too.....

Membership renewals - I hate Thorman Club

What do you expect when you get to play one game out of three and then most probably told this is your make or break game. He was left literally holding the ball when morris went from the field and we had no attacking options. He would have been better comming off the bench to shake things up...

Thorman must be played this week

Smith has let this guy sit on the bench for the last three weeks as the biggest may be man our club has ever had; either give him a shot or put him out of his missery. A shot is not an isolated game here and there but give him a run for a few weeks or the rest of the season no matter what...

    Anyone have hope?

There is always hope but honestly I can't see that happening. We needed this game to keep our chances alive especially with the Raiders, St George, Sharks and Knights loosing this week. Redemption was within their grasp but the players must not have wanted it badly enough or they just did not...

Next season wont be much better

and if not what then? what are our options with our current signings? Witt has showed nothing this year to suggest that he will fit into the role next year. I agree he is our best option but not on his own and not with a make shift 5/8. He will need an experienced 5/8 by his side.

So! What about Next Year? Where is Michael Buettner?

Exactly they mean nothing if they do not get any ball, they mean nothing if they are not directed, they mean nothing if Witts best option is the high ball. Yes they are good players (soldiers) and they deserve a good general. I can't see Morris as a 5/8 and the point is he does not see...

Why I'm worried about next year

Witt/Dykes would be a 5; Witt/Moriss would not even rate a 1. Next year we will be the laughing stock because we will have all this talent running around the feild like chickens with their heads cut off and no one directing them.

So! What about Next Year? Where is Michael Buettner?

I have seen nothing this year to suggest that next year will be any different. Yes we have some good if not great players comming to the club that will solve the problems we have had with our back line. Our pack will look alot stronger and faster which is a good thing. My concern is that we...

    What about a 5/8?

Honestly I would rate Dykes as one off the better 5/8 going around we would be crazy to let him go; and he will add that extra bit of something when Witt is not performing. Imagine Dykes, Morris, Ridell and Wit as our 5th tackle options

    Lyon set to return

If Lyon does signal his return does that mean that Parramatta either has to accept him into the fold or give him an unconditional release? If we have already maxed the salry cap with the possible 4 new signings we may just have to release him if he takes up his option to return. If thats the...

In response to Freaks anti Thorman sentiments

May be but why bring another premature solution to the table. The problem has been that neither Witt or Thorman have been given a chance to show what they are made of. We can all criticise Thorman but remember one thing, even Lockyer took 3 or 4 games to adjust when he moved into the halves. If...
