    The team with the better defence will always have the better percentage (given the same points for and against difference), which suggests better defence is more highly regarded than attacking ability. I am not sure that is the right way to go.

    Looking at final penalty counts is pretty meaningless. The penalty count may have finished 7-7, but the reality is the game was over when Manly led 18-0, at which time the penalty count stood at 5-1 to Manly.

    It doesn't matter if Winitana was playing at the ball or not. The ball went forward off Nightingale and that is a knock on the moment it hits an opposing player - as it clearly did in this case. No try - correct decision.

    Why do people expect someone like Sterlo would not be biased towards Parramatta ? The Johns brothers backing their mate Hagan is not all that surprising either. If you wanted balance, Channel 9 should have wheeled out Fatty for the game.

    Do the people who compile these stats understand the game ? Our points against is only 29, which makes it the 4th best, which surely is a more accurate description than 13th (lowest). Cowboys are currently 1st in Points Against, having concede a wopping 102 in 3 games!
