    Bad idea. I know it was right in the middle of the SL war, but boy I still think its a long shot. Too expensive and logistically very challenging. Q cup needs to stabalize and get its house in order first.

    What an unbelievably unprofessional performance from the Bulldogs captain today. Seemed he was too busy having running battles with the refs, milking penalties or causing silly penalties. His team needed leadership, but got the opposite. Poor display.

    What a sad display from Toovey last night; apparently a so called 'professional'. The bad calls and penalty count is not the point. His display was a blight on Manly and the code. Hope he cops a fine.

    The scheduling of some FTA games this year has been beyond atrocious! If the ratings are indeed down - then we know why. 9 have well and truly botched this up. Hopefully they'll learn for next year. Whether there is scope to change this with the existing rights deal is another thing.

    Perhaps - although the NSW forwards played right over QLD in parts so Gallen probably wasn't missed so much in that sense. Don't forget, Ben Hannant would have also provided QLD with more size and go forward, which we did miss at times last night....

    As fierce QLDer and Brisbaneite, I actually don't see this being such a big issue, albeit only as a 1 off. It is QLD vs NSW and not Brisbane vs Sydney after all. Will be a good lead-up to the Comm Games so all for it.

    NSW better team on the night - no dou bt about it. Qld were pedestrian for most of the game. NSW forwards completely dominated the Qld pack.. Hannant needs to come in ASAP.

    Exactly my thoughts. Rest assured, the Broncos will be going hard to consolidate any SE Qld League nurseries they can over the coming years to make life hard for any new teams that may threaten their turf.
