Does anyone care about World Cup Rugby League?

Of course I care!!! It is another thing for me to bet on and make money off.

    nrl stats

That's such a minor glitch though! And it is most often fixed up soon after. Usually you can work out what they mean and besides its irrelevant here because nrl stats was correct in the time they stated burt was stretchered off the field.

    Would you swap fullbacks?

Every supporter thinks their team's fullback is the best (for one good reason or another)....except for cronulla supporters.

    The Bulldogs Two Main Problems

I don't think sherwin and roberts sharing the halfback role really weakens the position. Roberts is a great player no doubt, but he will most likely be our halfback when sherwin leaves and should be groomed this way. If he does want to become a 5/8 later thats fine but it is easier to go from...

    Peter Wallace

You can't be serious! You can be too big for any position.....imagine a forward like dane tilse who is 6'8....although this is good to be a battering ram it makes him so much less mobile and more susceptible to injuries as he would have a greater tendency to fall awkwardly...... Also the...

    The Bulldogs Two Main Problems

The weather was fine really until the last 20 minutes or so........and i would also like to know why holdsworth was dumped because he was one of our most consistent players in the opening rounds...... Also i am not doubting sherwins and roberts long kicking game...i know it can be good but why...

    The Bulldogs Two Main Problems

After yesterdays game against the sharks two main tactical reasons for the bulldogs poor first half performance emerged: 1) No runs out of dummy half (too much one off the ruck stuff) 2) No long kicking game The dummy half problem could be solved with a livewire hooker like a billy ngawini but...

    Your pre-season ladder.

I had: 1) Storm 2) Sea Eagles 3) Broncos (always finish third) 4) Warriors 5) Bulldogs 6) Cowboys 7) Panthers 8) Knights 9) Titans 10) Dragons 11) Roosters 12) Eels 13) Tigers 14) Rabbitohs 15) Sharks 16) Raiders overall ok but panthers, eels, tigers are way off i also...

    Soward is a ball hog

Yeh cooper and soward both had great games. Cooper backed up his solid origin display quite nicely indeed IMO.

    Soward is a ball hog

Did you see the game today? I think you owe someone an apology.

What's the point of giving 2 points during a bye?

Don't you realise it works both ways???!??!!!!!:x If teams are awarded 0 points for a bye they will seem worse than they are and if awarded 2 they will seem better. It is a catch 22. The one aspect you might not have considered is the PSYCHOLOGICAL aspect of a 4 point win going into a bye...

    Soward is a ball hog

He is not! Even if you think he is which he isn't he is a halfback and they are expected to hold onto the ball a lot. Especially since he is so young and has a lot to learn it is a great sign as it shows he has the confidence in his own game and that is one aspect of the game that cannot be...

    The weekly Paul Carige award

In a low scoring match (and with el Masri in the team) setting up 1 try was enough to win the game as the maroons only scored 4 points. Whether he bombed the tries or not is debatable but he still looked dangerous and got involved in both halves which not many players did. Nonetheless, you...

    The weekly Paul Carige award

You can't say someone had a bad game just because they didn't score tries. If you did front rowers would never be man of the match and you could accuse them of bombing tries as they often get so close to the line and don't score. I know he is an outside back and is supposed to score but in the...

    Hayne - outstanding!!

DID YOU SEE MANU VATUVEI AGAINST THE EELS A FEW WEEKS BACK? Unless you think a few weeks is ages I don't think you did see it. And you can't call those matt cooper tries bombed? Queensland always has defence of steel when its crunch time in origin games....no-one would have scored them. I...

Is 2007 the year of the eel?

Many times in the past (mainly 2001 and 2005) as you'd all be well aware Parramatta has been in the mix and everyone begins talking up their chances. After this point the wheels start to fall off their campaign. That time of the year is fast approaching again and I am wondering if this year will...
