    Why couldn't NSW name tba as second rower for next week, then Hindmarsh's suspension would be served on the weekend (which he would miss anyway if named for NSW) then name Hindmarsh on Monday. I wonder if anyone has ever done that one before???

    How can you ever be 100% certain that a player would have scored without interference?? I have only seen the replay once and I thought it was fair decision to award the penalty try.

    Can the result of a match be overturned?

    You can't overturn a result, because of a dud call late in a match. If you did this the question would be asked, what about the dodgy call in the 8th minute or one in the 34th, refs call is final.

    I too am only 25 and was horrified when I saw I knew the answer to the question posed at old buggers. As everyone has stated Australian rugby league clubs numbered their forward pack differently to the rest of the world, sometime during the late 80's or early 90's they fell into line.

    The Beaconsfield Hotel in Beconsfield Pde St Kilda will show it live as will the Max Hotel in Commercial Rd, Prahran. This is where I have watched it the last few years. There are few other pubs around the place that will show it live, but on local tv it won't be on till 10 or 11pm at best.

    I don't really think having an NRL team with the same nickname will hurt the AFL. It would be pretty silly, let the Brisbane Lions have their moniker, the new GC RL team should have their own strong new identity.

    You are 100% right, when Brisbane merged with Fitzroy to become the Brisbane Lions they had to pay the then Brisbane Lions soccer club for the rights to the name.
