And did anyone actually see Graham do something tonight? I cant recall.
If it wasn't for Graham we would have been done by 50 tonight mate.
Walsh forgot how to KICK THE f**king BALL :x and was making absolutely ridiculous braindead 5th tackle plays all night. Probably the worst game I've seen from a first-grade halfback in a long, long time (besides makeshift halfbacks filling in). Graham made plenty of decent clearing kicks... and also put at least 2 grubbers into the in-goal to keep the pressure up and get repeat sets (would have been 3 if it wasn't for the Badger).
He also threw some of his great, great passes.

Better side won, no doubt about that, no the Dragons were well down on what I've seen from them at various times this year. Though it's quite obvious at the game that some dragons fans really need to figure out there is a long way to go before the premiership is their's.

Two decisions cost us any chance we had in that game, not awarding the second try to lewis, sure we'll have a thousand looks at it then decide there is no doubt about us not scoring

The second is Matt Elliott's decision to take Lewis off when he did. Seriously, WTF Elliott? I know the guy was coming back from a nine week lay off but he was leading our comeback and you take him off, I'm sure he would have played through any fatigue. Instead Elliott chooses to take him off and bring him back when it's all done and dusted.

Oh and I hope that grub Costigan enjoys a miserable holiday watching his team play finals footy from the sideline.

I cringed when I saw that tackle. Not sure if Poore will be in trouble with the judiciary, but it certainly didn't look pretty.
Watching Elford lying there, and then all of a sudden seeing him spitting out a heap of blood... not good. Hopefully he is alright.

Just returned from the game, great crowd out there, 19k I believe.

Dragons were far too good, what a great side and they did it with one of their poorer performances. Panthers D was good but too many poor options in attack, Walsh had a very poor game, Lewis was inspirational.

THey will take a lot out of that game, hope they can still find a way to make the 8

sammutt seems like the consumate "Look at me mum" type player ... Jumping to take a bomb with no defence around to make it look flash rather than set himself. Overly flashy without solid foundation.

I thought we did fairly well to hold the Dragons for most of the game. I kind of sensed the no try to Lewis would signal the end, then the compounding try to Soward against the run, 12 point turn around there.
Dragons look the goods but they're going to stumble at some point, they can't keep this up for another 7 games.
Walsh was poor, Elford had a diabolical 20 minutes, hope the guy is alright but also gives JTK an opportunity he will probably take again. Tighe looked far better tonight. Pritchard looks in real good form.
With Lewis in the side we look that much better, more organised, structured and menacing in attack, and far less gets through in defence. With a fit and firing Lewis I think Penrith will cause some serious problems.

hope Elford gets suspended for the high shot on Cooper.

I'll reserve judgement of this call, seems a bit suspect when Poore is almost certainly going to get a couple of weeks for his indiscretion.

On another note, real rulings aside, the refereeing for both teams was horrendous.

Although, how good is England all out for 102. I love Clark (Not Clarke).

A pretty poor quality game. Lots of rubbish from both teams, though you have to hand it to Penrith for their last ditch defensive efforts. Mind you, if their first line of defence had done its job, they wouldn't have needed to display the last ditch stuff so often. :p They did well to hang in for as long as they did, though i think the Lewis no try is what knocked the stuffing out of them (ridiculous decision, but I'll take it if it benefits my team).

Lewis, by the way, is an absolute gun. The Panthers should lock him in for life if they have any sense. I bet the Bunnies would kill to have him right now.

Anyway, two points is two points. We'll take 'em, and move on to conquering our other great hoodoo: Canberra in Canberra.

How lazy can a f**ker be after 5 minutes of the game?

I think Poore will cop a Grade 2, argue for a reduction to Grade 1 and get it, and sit out next week's trip to Canberra.

Another meaningless game for us in terms of the ladder, but it is another 'hoodoo' game .. we haven't won down there since 2000.

Pretty poor performance tonight, but we played one of the form teams in the bottom half of the 8 away from home and got up comfortably in the end.

Take the 2 points, and move on to next week, I guess!
