again NSWRL and QRL would lose all their status and power in that scenario, so never would agree to it.
It would also cost the NRL a fair whack of money. Its not cheap to run an international competition and without every club having a pokie den to pay for it the NRl would have to cover most of costs.

I agree it wouldn’t be cheap but it removes the idea of a national reserve grade competition which would cause more damage.

When you consider all NRLWA has is 4 staff and 4 DO's sittting in shtty little offices under a stand at hbf park we are punching well above our weight. Could only imagine what we could achieve if we had an NRL club and some decent funding at grassroots level!

They exported fumbleball to PNG long before rugby league reached their shores. It didn't stop rugby league from becoming the national sport of PNG, just like in Queensland and NSW.
Same as Sydney

the fumblers had their own club competition in Sydney and the crowds were great it was almost overtaking union

soccer too was well established.

That’s the funny thing about afl fans is they don’t know that their sport was established in Sydney and Brisbane well before rugby league had even been established and still league came in and wiped them off the map

Well give the storm all the ammunition we can then, and relocate the panthers and roosters to victoria, and f**k ALF off

Fumbleball fans are wilfully ignorant. They're a cult.

He might be but that doesn’t mean he isn’t right. Do you really comprehend how much money governments and other third parties are going to have to put in, so as to make this feasible?
But but but passion, fans, jnrs.
Shame none of them will cover the $15mill a year they will need to raise, before we even get to how they will build a team willing to play there.
