Hope it is a green top, it is our only chance, we might get rolled but we must give our bowlers every advantage!
So if India bat first they'll score 600+, oh goody :roll:They are using a drop in pitch, which could mean its a concrete deck, or will be by the time session 2 rolls around on Day 1

That won't benefit anybody tbh.Grrrr, means it will turn, grrrr:crazy:
Drop in pitches are killing cricket, all they produce are boring low slow wickets with no life in them. f**king AFL!! And now they are doing the same at the Adelaide oval
The Adelaide Oval normally did a bit early then flattened out to be a good batting deck. By day 4 and 5 we would see some spin and uneven bounce and normally a result. It was a great cricket wicket. These drop in wickets are normally lifeless from day one and produce boring and dull cricket.Yeah but Adelaide oval has always been a road, drop in or not it's the soil quality and grass on the ground which has dictated it.
drop in don't necessarily have to be roads, they can be prepared however the curator chooses to prepare them
MCG curator Cameron Hodgkins, however, has provided Christian with a glimmer of hope for Boxing Day, stating that both bowling attacks will require variation to take wickets on what is expected to be a flat drop-in pitch.
"After the new ball has worn and the pitch has flattened out, you tend to need a fair bit of variety to conjure up wickets," he said.
so it will be a typical Adelaide road
