I worked out the sums somewhere. It's simple, add the club averages up for each state and divide by three, i.e. an even average as if there were three teams in each state.

The nine clubs in and around Metropolitan Sydney have their averages added up, and then divided by three.

The three clubs in Queensland have their averages added up, then divided by three.

As of last week, so far in 2008, NSW comes out with a 49,000 per game for each of the hypothetical three teams, whereas QLD's three teams combined then averaged equate to an average of 26,000.

There are so many factors that differ even in that argument to disprove it but it shows you just how many more people actually do attend RL in Sydney - it simply looks worse on a per-club basis because we have far more clubs

It's still not good enough according to you lot but I stand by it.

you have to be F#%king kidding me?????

Righto, hows about taking into account the population difference between the 2 states, NSW is what roughly....... 2x that of QLD' (at a guess??)

So let's halve your so called "Median" theory for NSW and what is it now????? Both theories are a load of $hiite and you know it.

You have lost the plot man........

What lofty heights are those Three Dads? Backpedalling twice on the price difference in petrol between Paradise and South Of, or being exposed as a fraud for your mathematical figuring?

You bring it on yourself Dummah with your pretentious FC ways.

If we don't expose you for the sh*t you dribble, people might think you have a point.

All that is necessary for evil to flourish is that good men do nothing.

So you're already right, there's nothing anyone can do, and everyone in NSW is evil?

Play the ball, not the man, for once in your forum life.

I played the ball dummahss, the backpedalling ball and the liars-don't-figure ball. You were just carrying them at the time so you got smashed both times.

But, then again, you got your post count up without actualy contributing anything so I suppose your purpose was served.

Agreed. Two popular Sydney sides should have no trouble whatsoever getting 20K especially given the weather was fine. Average.

Nice crowd at the Coast.

Yep - a piss poor crowd in Sydney.

People may come out and show it's higher than the game last year or in 2003 or whatever, but any way you cut it: Friday Night Footy, 2 strong teams, 4.5m people in the city - yet only 16k crawl out to get there.

If you dont think there's room for dramatic improvement here...get your head checked.

The only small positive for the NRL in this game - is that it was not showcased at ANZ Stadium.
