Don't think many will agree with you there, but each to their own.

You are right, the Roosters will probaby never take on a new design. People love it but I wish we could have just one season with something radically different --- Id buy it in a heartbeat. Most of the best jerseys I've seen came from Super League & the early NRL seasons.

Hahahahahahahahhahaha!!! Ah the innocence of youth.

I'm just saying would it kill these clubs to just once look a little more interesting? The Dragons would look great in the design the Bulldogs had between 1998-2011, with red in place of blue. Something, anything modern. The V is so boring. Everyone owns that jersey. Give the fans something new for the wardrobe, I say.

As a Wests Tigers fan, I've had my share of 'interesting'.

This years two heritage strips are what we want.

Most of yours, okay, they haven't been so hot, but the big exception was the 2005 jersey --- you guys looked awesome in that. Id kill for the Chooks to sport something along those lines.

The fans don't want anything new. The club boss who changes the Red V will be lynched within 2 minutes of that news coming out.

P.S. Troll harder.

Each year the Dragons play in Red-V (regular), Illawarra (alternate), heritage, Charity Shield, ANZAC Day, Pink-V and Indigenous jerseys. There is more than enough scope for experimentation with something "a little more interesting" without having to replace the Red-V or Illawarra jerseys.

I can't find any pictures of this year's Tiger's heritage strip anywhere. What do they look like?

I saw a couple of our new ANZAC jerseys yesterday, but not a single new heritage jersey.

It was disappointing as I was dying to see it in the flesh.

Considering the Dragons have no legitimate heritage, only the pretense of it from their pre-merger days, they don't really have much of a leg to stand on claiming, "tradition."

The club sold its tradition at the end of 1998. I believe they got $8,000,000 for it.

Now you are trolling.

With facts? They were born in 1999, they sold their right to be a traditional club. Those aren't opinions.

This happens every few months (I think I'm even guilty of it once).

Some try hard comes into the jersey thread (the only thread that is fair dinkum) and has a bit of a troll.

They evolved in 1999. They re-joined with a region that had historically been a part of their territory during their glory years.

Please don't peddle the 'no heritage' line to dragons or tigers fans.

It's in our blood and on our sleeves. Anything less is like suggesting souths have only existed since 2002.

As for the heritage strips, Balmain circa 1960s and magpies from the 1970s are this years links.

Fans love it. Yes, 2005 was novel, but simplicity and impact go hand in hand.

Have to say I don't see it that way, but it sure beats the hell out of, "troll," as a reply, so thanks. "Troll," has become the catchcry of the lazy & the glib.
