And he probably was, not sure why he'd lie about it. With Talakai injured and Ferris injured (though not sure he can even play being in the development squad) Hiroti is next man up..sadly. Wasn't impressed with his Dogs trial performance so expectations were low.

Depends on perception. Is he as good as Xerri for example. Bronwyn was supposedly on $300k. Is Kris worth 300k? Who knows, he's worth what the market says and what he does this yearn what will likely be limited opportunities.

To me it would be buying a player for the sake of it. He's not better than what we have when all are for and not suspended.

Yep last year after covid hit and they weren't playing (which was to be for us). There are stories about at the moment where Petero is saying it will be announced soon who they are going to be a feeder for, but it was announced last year after us that The Roosters are now doing it. I'll link both

Two points on this.
1. If correct re Smith is this a sign re Bellamy.
2. Barrett will sign a bunch of players, and dogs won't improve his is not coaches shoelace

Benefit we have over the Dogs is we have far less pieces missing imo. Dogs are/were just shit all over the park. A couple of astute signings ala McIness and it'll make a big difference.
