What Gus doesn't realise is that NRL players don't get paid enough for a waiver system (i assume this is what he means) to get close to consideration by the RLPA.
The only reason we would sign him is to play centre or wing if we feel wighton will be playing 5/8. If not he wouldn’t even look at us as an option

I agree totally that the depth needs to be cleaned out and restocked. I’m just saying someone of auto’s pedigree and impatience (hence him looking elsewhere) would probs rule us out. He won’t want to come here as a back up. If we play wighton in the halves, yes amazing bring him in. But if wighton is truly playing centre iro would have to beat Tass out for the wing spot. Neither will want to play reggies
Youth, speed, size and some mongrel is needed. Our forward pack lacks a jwh/nas type forward.
