The NRL integrity unit and the Brisbane Broncos are investigating a late-night incident at a Bali nightspot involving Broncos superstars Reece Walsh and Ezra Mam.

A complaint has been lodged with head office and the Broncos over the alleged behaviour of the star duo towards a fan seeking a selfie with the Brisbane No.1.

It is alleged the fan tried to take a selfie with Walsh before Mam intervened and took the phone from him. According to the complaint, the phone has since gone missing.

The NRL integrity unit confirmed it was aware of the complaint and is investigating.

The Broncos said they were aware of the incident but declined to comment.

Answer (1 of 4): I am not sure there IS etiquette for selfies. I will attempt what I think is the closest to proper? I would ask politely if said person would object to having their picture taken with you. Then, be gracious what ever their answer is.

So, the off season has kicked off with some idiot in Bali having his phone taken off him by Ezra Mam and Reece Walsh after they objected to him taking repeated photos of the pair.
The guy’s friend apologised to the players but the d&*head persisted before the players took action.
The d&*head called his father in Australia who contacted the NRL to demand that his son’s phone be replaced.

Not sure which behaviour is the worst: the pestering photography without consent or the parenting (of an adult man child). Maybe the two behaviours are intrinsically linked as in: ‘gee I wonder where he gets it from?’
