True but Su’A is awful that’s the change and he can’t go worse than Kurt Gapewell
Much better forward than Capewell but he’s not as versatile. Capewell was there to provide cover incase of any injuries to the backline as well. Su’A is actually pretty good, in the opening minutes he made that really good line break. I get that things fell apart afterwards but that was the entire teams fault.

Crichton has been pretty epic for a long time but just blended in to a great team. A bit like Luai. He was always in Cleary's shadow.

Crichton leaving Penrith, Luai having Cleary gone long enough to adjust to running a team. They're showing they were more than just cogs in the machine. Although Critter never had to leave. The grand final last year he was absolutely crucial in turning momentum along with Cleary. He is a big game player.
Crichton has always been good but he’s coming up with big plays more and more nowadays. I was surprised hearing he’s only 24 during the game but looked into it more and he’s actually still 23. He doesn’t have the talent of Latrell or Tom but I’d say he’s just one level below.

Luai is an interesting case, I believe he plays better without Cleary and Cleary plays better without him. Penrith is only going to get stronger.

You really could make an argument for Stephen Crichton to be the best "big game" player in the league today

The way he trusted Edwards to make the tackle on Su'a when he went straight through and instead stayed in the passing lane to prevent Walsh scoring set the tone for the first half.

some lazy players? i think latrell should give back 60% of his wages earned for the last 2 months of last season and the first 2 months of 2024. Just like milford should have given back 550,000 when the broncs won their only spoon
"earned"?

Su’A is ordinary and that’s on a good day, the bloke can’t tackle to save his life when it is needed. Hopefully the last game for him in Origin, least Kaufusi can tackle if you went him over Fifita sure.

Cobbo has to play and in the starting side please

You do realise Teddy running the ball too much is one of the key criticisms of him, right?

That is it.

That said I expect NSW to do something stupid in selections for next game and QLD still win
Same. Say what you like but almost every major NSW loss can be strongly attributed to horrible selections where it seems like everyone but the coach can see what's wrong.

Expecting no less for the Decider.

With Trell and Crichton there QLD certainly looked small in the ouside backs, personally would be looking at this next game:

2. Coates
3. Cobbo
4. Hammer
5. Gagai

I know Vals been there for a long time but he always gets dusted when up against a genuine world class centre. Is NSW get anywhere 50% possession and field position next game the edges will run through QLD like butter again unless they do something. Goes without saying but Fifita needs to come in too. Nanai off the bench.
Yeah, tbh Holmes hasn't been the same player since he came back imo. Was top echelon at one point before he left.

lol most of Teddys runs choked our backline out of space and that passes to the floor or sideline.

Dont need stats to see that Chinless was superior than Squidy. Watch a f**king game ffs.

Wonder just what it was that possessed he and Hayne to basically bonfire a couple or so years' worth of their primes in that chuckball thingy ... might make a good story for a real sportwriter.

Edwards was the worst starter we had on Wednesday. The only argument against that is that useless prick in the front row from your team.

Do you disagree and want to throw up another name?

I get your a Roosters fan but absolute no doubt in my mind Edwards is the superior player now a day.
