Yes but he's gone. No reason not to try someone for 40min when we are up by 30
Yes there is, we want to win this comp, to do that we need our best team on the field as much as possible.

No one carries a player on the bench with the hopes that we get 30 points up and he gets to have some work experience.

We should be playing this season the same as we have the last 3. The six for next year will be ready, without playing silly buggers with the bench.

I agree with this but it dtill leaves the question of where we will play Laurie?

i would say most likely in reserves as cover for origin.

If either Laurie or Cole are 14 we absolutely should see how they go with big 30-40 min stints next to Nathan. It will have zero impact on September

I like winning now.

Setting up our side in the hope of improving our chances of winning in the future (which rarely comes) was the MO for the club pre-Ivan.

You seem to be a keyboard warrior. Like I said, these forums are for peoples opinions. Just because it’s not yours, doesn’t mean it’s not right.

Barring an injury how much impact is the 14 going to have?
Guess it’ll depend on scenarios and situations in games and what game plan Ivan has for those scenarios and situations should they occur.

Generally the Panthers are one of, if not the fittest sides in to the comp. Almost the entire squad has big motors. Back to my original comment where I think the 14 might be a revolving and evolving position based on opposition might still end up being true.

Depending who plays 14 that round probably dictates who plays 17 as well. Smaller body 14, bigger body 17. Bigger body 14, more robust player 17 and so on.

To be fair to Chins, Black panther, Chins never tries to shut down arguments. But you should know he loves an argument and I think he never takes it personal. He also loves to use hyperbole - "Turva is a sh*t winger, Mitch Kenny is not a first grader" that sort if thing. He loves to make strong statements to stir the pot. He always apologises if he offends and he admits when he is wrong. Of course, "wrong" is a relative position in a forum full of amateurs talking footy.

If you don't like Chin's opinion, just wait, he has so many it will only be a matter of time before he has one you like! :)

I
Is disagreeing with you being passive aggressive? If you were able to suggest a good reason for not starting the best front row combination in the world, I’d agree with you, But I haven’t seen you suggest one yet…
I am with you Luke lol
