Best 1-17 in 2024. Plus 18th & 19th as cover.

Assuming Peach, Cogger leave by end of the year with Salmon, Leniu and Critchon are already gone.

1. Edwards
2. To’o
3. Turuva
4. Tago
5. May

6. Luai
7. Cleary

8. Leota
9. Kenny
10. Fisher-Harris
11. Martin
12. Sorensen
13. Yeo

14. Luke
15. Smith
16. Hosking
17. Henry

18. Laurie
19. Geyer

Questions - Is Henry big and explosive enough to fill in for Fish/Leota when they’re off? Will he be a sound 1-2 combo with Smith?

Is Geyer edging closer to that top 20 based on his resigning yesterday?

Is Laurie the 18th man or better suited to be 14?

Is Cole a better option at 14?

Is it better to move May to center and keep Turuva at wing?

Is it better to bring Cole in at center, Turuva to wing and May needing to earn his starting spot back?

Henry reminds me of Carrigan. You won't get much impact but is good for longer minutes.

IF he is the one to come in, I'd start him with Leota off the bench

Martin on the bench as a middle, hosking in at 2nd row, you can then carry whoever you want as no.17 Laurie if you want, for a backs fill in

I know we need to try replace Spencer's impact but Martin is just too good to be off the field
Ok then start him, then drag him to the middle after fish or moses gets gassed, still works.. and you can still carry a specialist back... ditto for sorrenson, he can work as both

Pending any new signings for 2024, that looks just about right. However, I agree with @soc123_au in that May & Tito should be swapped around.

My bolters:

* Lisati
* Cole
* Jenkins
* McLean J

Left field:

* Sommerton

Honestly if we can do this three-peat . Four is not out of the question with that list..

Creating history. What a time.

But got to worry about getting this first.

I'd leave Tito on the wing & Taylan May gets first crack at the vacant center spot. The rest looks about right.
May is a big enough guy to play in the centres. I would imagine his progressions barring injuries to similar to that of Luke Lewis - he will end up in the back row I think.
