It amuses me the Roosters are considered a heavyweight.
They've been a myth for years.
The expectation is they are just lurking ready to win the competition every year. But they have played the same football 4 seasons straight. They've backed JWH/Radley types when most clubs would have moved on by now. Its a bit odd for the Roosters to keep backing the same horse. Robbo might have the blinkers on.
Even worse, they might feed Leniu whatever they are eating and turn his brain into a marshmallow.
Summo will extend at the very 1st offer. He loves the joint. The other Luke is only signed for 2024 though. So it’s only Soni Luke signed for 2025.
“Aging legends” the Peach will be 36 but Nathan will only be 29 which is 5 years younger than DCE is now. Everybody in the 13 except Yeo will be under 30.Robbo is going through his Paul Green phase.
Remaining loyal to his premiership winning players rather than succession planning.
In 2027 management may need to have some tough conversations with Ivan in regard to our aging legends.

Sorro as well.Um Yeo, Leota, JFH and Martin will all be over thirty, four years from today.
The pack will need a refresh.
A couple of players on the list need good seasons in 2024 or their time at the Panthers will likely come to an end. Lisati and Riki are two of the obvious ones. I like Preston Riki , I think he has upside given his height and mobility but his injury record has hampered him big time. Lisati likewise needs to show some next season.Penrith Panthers can confirm the NRL squad for the 2024 season and beyond.

The salary cap seems to be doing all the hard decisions.
Thanks for pointing that out, hopefully we can keep them all into their senior years.Um Yeo, Leota, JFH and Martin will all be over thirty, four years from today.

Don't think they have the spine or pack to worry anyone come September“Aging legends” the Peach will be 36 but Nathan will only be 29 which is 5 years younger than DCE is now. Everybody in the 13 except Yeo will be under 30.
Don't think they have the spine or pack to worry anyone come SeptemberDon’t sleep on the roosters, I hate them but it won’t surprise me to see them much better next year. Their forward pack is being refreshed. We know leniu is a talent, Wong I think will have a breakout year. I’m also really big on Whyte, I think he’s very talented.
